Driver was super rude and mad. Person like he can not work with a people. He should be fired ASAP. He was ready to take a phone of the one of the passengers, because passenger wasn’t talking even loud. Passenger is a student and he was so confused. I wish you will do some, because it’s ridiculous!!! It was bus 203 and it went from Rehoboth parking ride to Lewes. Bus number is 22001.
Dart Paratransit bus service is subpar and substandard. We have utilized this service for 8 years. Most of the employees are unprofessional and lack understanding as it pertains to clients privacy and protected health information. Some of the employees are knowledgeable, consistent and professional. Many of the Dart drivers, are not familiar with Home security recording devices , and don't realize they are being recorded, when on the clients premises, and give Oscar worthy performances. A complete revamping is necessary for this company to survive financially. Overall, The State of Delaware transportation system needs a complete overhaul and restructering. Guidance and coaching from New York and Boston Massachusetts transportation system is highly recommended. Department of Transportation needs to take a second look at Delaware.
This bus service is unreliable and unprofessional. On top of being frequently late, the drivers don't own up to their errors and they could care less. The bus on my route comes every 30 minutes Route 101. I arrived to the bus stop 6 minutes before the scheduled arrival time. That bus never came. I waited over 20 minutes. I called the Dart customer service 800 number to see what on earth happened to that bus. Was it late, did it break down, or what? They failed to provide me with an answer. All I got was the run around. They transferred me to four different individuals each time I told the other about the issue. They informed me that the next bus would be there shortly, which I already knew, but couldn't tell me the whereabouts of the previous bus that never arrived. It's as if they were purposely avoiding the question.
The bus Schedules do not match the times, That some of the drivers decide to come.. I guess they make up their own times... even if you are at the bus stop 20 minutes early, just make sure you are there a hour early, and sometimes the buses are very late so either way its kind of a loose loose battle! I also think it is very unfair that we are forced to pay $4.20 cents for an all day pass that's a little overpriced and $2.00 for one way for busses that can't even follow the right time schedule. Dart has changed alot and not for the good... However I can say that the customer service in the wilimington office is excellent, at first i thought that me making a complaint wouldn't do anything, but it did thank you for careing
If you can find another way to work please do. Because the bus transit has went downhill. The bus just up and left me when I was standing right there at the bus stop. The operator just argued with me on some procedure instead of listening to me that there were two customers before me and they both were handi capable. And one of them asked for change so I was giving it to them and she just pulled off. Instead of putting the ramp down for him while I was giving the change to the other. She just pulled off and me running next the bus staring right at her through the door and she looked at me and still kept going. The nerve.
Only two buses a day in Rehoboth?? It's a thousands of people here every summer. They are trying to fill the bus as much as they can, and they don't care this people sitting, staying, laying on their coolers or sitting next to the garbage container. It's a lot of disabled people and children in rehoboth, but this company don't care. It's not the same service as 4-5 years ago. 4 years ago it was only a $2.10 daily pass and everyone enjoyed the service. It was a lot of busses. Where are they now? Now they charge $4.20 and it's only 2 buses a day....very stressful. You can stay on the bus stop no bench for half an hour and the bus simply will not stop, because it's full, and you need to wait for another one, or the bus can be late 30-45 minutes on the schedule buses every 15 minutes ha-hahaha- ha and when I asked bus driver where was the buses for the last 45 minutes, she said YOU DON'T SEE THAT ITS TRAFFIC, IF YOU WANT TO COMPLAIN, CALL THE COMPANY. Well...it's not my problem that it's traffic, it's always traffic in rehoboth, that's why people need more buses. They are all about money now, but no service. The most awful company in Delaware...no customer service. If you can find another ride to work, do it....
I would give less than one star if it was possible. Drivers are rude and disrespectful. Elderly people are spoken down to and treated horribly. These are people that need rides to Dr appointments and dialysis. Shut up is a common word and threats to an elderly lady in a wheelchair to leave on side of the road because you had the wrong information on her dialysis appointme. Never on time. If your that unhappy with your job, find another one.
I've been riding this bus for a year now since I don't have a car, and recently the 101 driver hit something, messing my arm and my neck up including my fiancées, nevertheless I still haven't received a call back from their transportation safety representative, terrible service, guess I just have to do what my attorney said, and go to Dover post while I'm at it. It's sad to see this place go down hill, now I'm afraid to even ride the bus considering the fact majority of their drivers can't 'drive', this is the second time the 101 has crashed into something, or gotten into an accident, and I can't even get a CALL BACK? Seriously!
I was in Smyrna de & a dart bud almost hit me, mind you I’m pregnant & I called it in & they were so unprofessional. The lady got smart and then transferred me to customer service to were the lady hung up on me. Idk what kind of drivers there hiring but be safe
Terrible. The bus is running late and the driver decides it's a good time to stop at the random stop and hand out a stupid leaflet to every passenger...
