Dr. Patton has been a GOD SEND!!! I had MULTIPLE doctors who refused to do a hysterectomy on me because of my age… as if all of my losses meant nothing… they treated me as if I was a nobody… fast forward to my first visit with Dr Patton… he took all things into consideration & my diagnoses & my multiple healthy children as well as multiple losses & told me that he was on board with me to have the surgery done. He and his nurse were the only two who could calm me down in the OR before my surgery. They were so so kind & I literally had the best experience ever. After all, I should be able to make my own decision as it is my body - thank you Dr Patton & staff for LISTENING to someone who didn’t have a voice for so long.
Not cool, my daughter was there Friday, for appt. Guess we saw Midwife, my daughter told her she thought a reoccurring cyst was starting again, she’s already had 3 surgeries. The lady wasn’t concerned at all even said she didn’t know anything about pilodontal cysts. Now she in ER W/C, they did procedure in ER prob be released today but not till she gets shipped out so they can bill for ambulance service. If Payton’s can’t help any better then this, he’s not the Dr for us and I will get her to look elsewhere. disappointing
I do not reccommend dr. Patton...he Is my obgyn...Had surgery with him...he wouldnt even meet with me before the surgery...nor after....Would give a 0....Get a second opinion!!!!
Do NOT go to this practice! Didn’t inform me I had low progesterone, for weeks after they tested me. Knew I had RH negative blood and I never received the necessary Rhogam shot. I fully blame this office for the loss of my baby girl. They are inconsiderate and lack empathy of anyone who walks in their doors. Do not go to this office because your friend told you they had a good experience. Please do your research, a simple google search or facebook search with their name with show you that this place is incapable of caring for you. It’s not worth the risk!
My wife has had endometriosis since she was 12 years old she had had multiple laproscopic surgeries as a teenager by Dr. Kessler and has been able to conceive 5 children naturally after the surgery....3 of which she micarried and 2 which are out living children naturally after the surgeries....originally she was seeing Dr. Heywood who was amazing and was in practice with Dr. Patton... but he unfortunately left to utah....so she was automatically assigned to Patton since they were in the same office....now for a year we are trying to conceive another with no luck....and Dr Patton did another laproscopic...because she wanted her endometriosis removed and tubes cleared again...in the preoperative appointment they explained the procedure and told her it'd be minimally invasive with 3 scars under the panty line....as usual but nothing sounded unusal....but after she woke up she was in awe after she saw 5 wounds all over her upper abdominal...she was severely upset when she woke to these wounds and then to learn that he made us ourselves ...the family ....inform her that he did not try to unblock her tubes...he had her in surgery for a total on 20 minutes before coming out and saying that ivf was our only option of concieving...which we know is not....he didnt care to update her in person....nor does he care to help...she knows her options and the fallopian tube recanalization is a higher success rate for people with blocked tubes also if preformmed is more natural option and cheaper then ivf and it creates a less toxic environment for an embreo to survive in.......this man is fast to cut you up and then refer you to his ivf specialist Dr.Yalcinkaya.. who quoted me around 40-60 thousand dollars...he's in it for money and doesn't care for his patients...there are far better options....get a second opinion.
I absolutely love his office. The ladies are always so nice and helpful. I'm so glad that I decided to get care for me and my forth and final pregnancy there. I highly recommend his office!
Dr. Patton is absolutely amazing, and his team is top tier. They’ve all always listened and heard my fears and addressed any concerns or questions I’ve had about my pregnancy’s. If it wasn’t for him and his team both pregnancies would have ended differently. I highly recommend his office. Not to many doctors go out of their way to make sure you feel like a friend and not a patient. Highly recommend him!
I just moved to WV from out of state in December. I was 9 months pregnant and desperately looking for a doctor so I had one lined up. I did a lot of research and the choice was this office and one other one. I ended up choosing this one because it just felt right. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I felt welcomed and both Dr. Patton and their midwife I forgot her name are very nice people. I ended up going into labor later in the day, a day before my due date. It was all very fast so when I did deliver, it was almost midnight and so Dr. Patton wasn't able to arrive in time to deliver my baby, but he did arrive right at the end. He checked on me periodically and even performed the circumcision on my son. He did a great job and he healed up nicely. I highly recommend their office! If you're hesitant about having a male doctor, don't worry!! He is very professional and he takes his time to listen and answer all questions. He also has a wonderful midwife and she is super nice and she has a great sense of humor. Also, I've never had to wait long for my appointment like I have at other places.
This office is absolutely phenomenal. Between the staff, all of the amenities, and the calm and soft bedside manner that everyone in this office has, it is where I will go for all of my OB and Aesthetic needs. I moved here from Utah in 2020. I got pregnant with my second child in July and tried to find something that was close to Utah style healthcare because that is what I am used to. I looked high and low and I even tried the office next door to his. My dad suggested that I see Dr. David Patton as he knew that the community relied on him for superb care. With Dr. Heywood back in Utah, I decided to make an appointment. Oh my gosh y'all, the office is fantastic. You will have a recliner for your NST and the staff will always treat you well. You will feel like the only patient when you go there. Deanna is a calm mannered, sweet, but fiery and fierce Midwife. She will get it DONE. They are very on top of things and will take every measure to make sure that you and your babe are safe and healthy. I am very excited to return with my third in the next few weeks.
Even though I had a negative pregnancy experience, the staff was always there to accommodate me and tried to set my worry’s to ease. I was seen every time I called and I felt herd. Hopefully third times a charm.
