Love this museum! More Ball State Students should take advantage of the awesomeness right on their campus. I always have an amazing time when I visit and get to see beautiful art. They have events all year round that are well constructed by their dynamite team! So happy to be so close to DOMA and the amazing art it brings to BSU!

Outstanding museum on the campus of Ball State University. You can easily spend several hours here. Wonderful collection of Hindu and Buddha statues. They offer self guided tours and a few audio pieces.

Good variety of art in a beautiful building. Free. Metered parking $1 per hour a short walk away on Riverside and University.
A very nice collection of art to look at, it is a hidden gem in Muncie no doubt. There is free street parking in the old quad on the weekends too.
The DOMA is a great museum, well taken care of, and meticulously upkept. They create a few different rotations every year to showcase a number artists, styles, and cultures.
OMG!!!This museum is so interesting and easily navigated! There are a plethora of artifacts in this museum that it would probably take at least three days to read through everything. It's extremely neat, clean and sanitary. Little children would most likely need to visit elsewhere, if looking to be entertained. The architecture of the building is as fascinating as its contents! So, if you're looking for things to do in spare time or looking to enrich yourself with the history of our world, this is the place to go! It might even be romantic for some .
We attended a recognition dinner at Ball State. We really enjoyed the art here at the museum. The staff was friendly and accommodating
It's definitely one of campus's hidden gems, which is ironic considering how many people know about it. Oddly enough, it is also the home of the Geology department, with awesome displays to be found on the first floor below the museum itself. It's got an Allosaurus skull and "scale models" of dinosaurs. The museum itself is filled with art both beautiful and strange. Even the "modern" art is enjoyable, and I went in completely expecting to hate that area. The staff is polite, but firm, so I know the artifacts are being taken care of. If you haven't gone, you should go, even if you aren't into art museums in general. It's my favorite place on campus.
