The Dawes County Historical Museum includes a log house, toy room, barber shop in Carpenter's Cove building dedicated to Dean Carpenter, barn, 1890s schoolhouse, pioneer church and C&NW caboose. The new Marcus Cain building contains inventions of local farmer Marcus Cain.
