Days Inn, Slidell LA

Stopped by here on my way to Nola. Property just underwent some renovations. The rooms looked brand new and had new furniture and everything. Room was clean and all the amenities were good. Location is good because it is right off the exit. Gas is next door and Walmart is down the street half a mile away. There are a couple food options across the street too. Staff was pleasant. Will definitely stop by here again when I run through the area. Rooms: Newly Renovated rooms. new furniture. remodeled rooms. Safety: No issues with safety. Did not feel unsafe at all through the night even with belongings in my car

Very safe, comfortable, and clean stay. I was travelling with an unlocked trailer and the front desk kept an eye on it the entire night. I slept very well and had an exceedingly comfortable stay. I am a local, but if anyone I know needs a place to stay outside of NOLA, I will definitely recommend this location. The two women who were front desk the night of my stay were stupendous. The area is also super convenient to various needs Home Depot, restaurants, etc., I also had my dog and I had no issues.

Got tired on the road and came across this property to serve as a place to shower, sleep, and charge some batteries for a few hours. The check in process was pleasant and quick. This location is also currently undergoing renovations which they're expecting to finish next year. I was given room 302. The room itself was quite spacious for a motel room and the AC had no problem adjusting to my temperature preferences. Overall the lighting was more than adequate for a room of this price and there were plenty 9 open outlets available in the living space to charge devices. While the furniture was well worn, the room and linens were clean. The bathroom was clean and well lit also. I took a long shower with a seemingly endless amount of hot water. My only note about the bathroom is while the amount of towels were suitable for one person, I would've been short had I been traveling with a partner. The location is near several popular chain restaurants and convenience stores, making it a great place to pull off in the middle of a road trip. All in all, for the price point, I feel like I got a solid value for my needs.

NO GO! I reserved a room for 139. I was charged 189, the room next to mine was very loudwho's occupant let their dog walk around off leash and up to mine, The lobby and room smelled like MOLD!!!! ZERO stars. They keep fighting me to give me a refund as well. Rooms: SMELLED LIKE MOLD Safety: Did NOT feel comfortable stepping out the door. MOLDY smell didn't make me feel safe either.

I had a pleasant 5 day stay, my room was recently remodeled, there were no signs of bugs or weird odors. Would definitely stay here again.

We checked in late so had to check in at the window and it was hard to hear what she was saying. The key worked at night when we got to the room but did not work the next morning after I went down for coffee. The room had a musty old smell and a few bugs were in the room. You could see the daylight under the door so this little critters are just coming right in.

The renovating this place I had people knocking at my windows. I can hear the people next-door with your freaking music on or whatever they got going on. Been trying to take a nap all day. I’m having to drive for a big charter company. This is very unacceptable. Everything that I do indoor today. I pray I don’t have to stay here another night.

Got a smoking room. Pretty nice room. Was very clean. Recently upgraded. Smells like what a normal smoking room smells like but it's been cleaned well. Clean sheets and pillow cases. Good TV stations. Definitely would stay again. Little continental breakfast and the room was cheap priced so a major deal.Rooms: 3/5
