Motel 6

I came down in October to work hurricane Ida. Ended up staying several weeks at this motel. I’ve always heard how horrible “motel six“ is, but this one is not that way. Sure, it’s not a resort, but the rooms are always clean. the staff was incredibly friendly, and would go out of their way to make sure I had what I needed. I do a lot of work in the room, so I unplug the television and put it on top of the shelf. They were very concerned that I was mad that the TV wasn’t working or something, but I assured them that that wasn’t the case. I just wanted the TV out of my way. they were super cool about it and very accommodating. The price is right for what you get.

This is one of the Best Hotels in Slidell. Where do I start? First off the price of rooms are the lowest in the area. Great Value! Second the rooms are immaculately clean and efficient. Top rate! The shower is the most unique and efficient around. Third and last the Management and Staff. Ms. Paula and everyone in the Office are the Best around! Very attentive and helpful! They are always willing to go over and beyond for everyone. Super Friendly and Super Nice! They care. Professional! All in all I would highly recommend this Hotel. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. Thanks!

Wow. I'm writing this review while sitting by the road in front of Motel 6, next to my property. After staying 3 nights, I explained to the day manager that I had to run to the bank 30mins away to grab money for the next few nights. I was told since it's close to checkout 11am I would have to checkout and vacate the room. So I kindly packed up all my things which was more than a lot and set them outside my door which took about 20mins, so it's 11:15. So, after waiting for them to inspect and clean my room so I can get my deposit back, the same woman comes to meet me by my things and tells me after putting me on speaker phone with her GM that I'll have to move all my things off the property or it will be considered trespassing. I was in shock. So I called and cancelled my ride so I could get someone with a truck to pick me up and bring me instead. So after hauling all my property to the curb, see pic I went inside to get my deposit. Why didn't I record the conversation They had the nerve to tell me "We have a problem..you were in your room for too long after checkout and that's against our policy. So NO DEPOSIT!!! I was floored...until that point I had been nothing but nice and polite, through all the hassle and unnecessary requests. And I'm proud to say that I remained that way, even after being told that. As badly as I needed that $ and after having another $25 held on my debit card for the original deposit that I was never told I won't get back for 10-14 days! ....So, here I am stuck out in the 99* weather. Waiting on a ride that I now don't have $ to give for gas. If I could give this place a -5 stars I would. I help run 2 motels in New Orleans. I would never do what these people have done to a paying customer. Next step, the BBB. *And to anyone that follows or have read any of my previous reviews; You know the type of analysis I give. I don't write essays and It's almost always positive. The negative is for SPECIAL occasions. This is absurd, and down-right unprofessional. Stay clear of the Slidell Motel 6. The pool isn't open and the room had absolutely NO amenities not even a coffee maker Rooms: NO amenities whatsoever. Noteworthy details: The management is seriously lacking, common human decency. *See review above

Can’t complain for the price but can’t give 5 stars either. Water pressure was almost non existent. Was hard to take a good shower in a timely manner and a shower/ clean bed is the only thing I expect from a motel.. Also only 3-4 of the channels came in on the TV. Walterboro, SC location should be the flagship example of what a motel 6 should offer. I feel motel 6 doesn’t do a good enough job at managing their franchise owners.

Clean. The mattresses are very comfortable. Quiet. The only things Ng keeping it from being perfect is the curtain didn't really keep out the light and there were no refrigerator or microwave. Perfect price and a relatively quick trip to New Orleans.Rooms: 5/5

The staff at the hotel is wonderful. They a big help. From the managers to the staff will go out of they way to make things good for the stay. Motel 6 is the best hotel in Slidell Louisiana.Rooms: 5/5

Rude, disrespectful old ladies behind the desk. You can tell they're the ones who bought into the lie of feminism and absolutely hate all men. That's why they're working in their old age, because they're disrespectful to people particularly men. Guess what? Your lives are going to remain miserable and poverty laden more and more because of your bad attitudes. Let these women be an example of what NOT TO DO. Whoever lets these hags run their hotel is slap stupid

This hotel is number one motel in Slidell to me. Is number one class of any hospitality. They go out of their way to make sure that the guests is happy with everything. You want first class service come to motel 6 a Slidell. And the staff here is number one. You'll be happy when you leave hereRooms: 5/5

Room was clean and smelled of bleach. A bug crawled on me during the night and I saw a roach like bug crawling up the wall. Got a mystery charge of $25 on my account after I left that was never explained to me and no one was available in the office when I checked out. Noteworthy details: The front desk people were nice but I’m very upset that I was charged $25 after my stay when we left the room as we found it and I had bugs crawling on me.
