As I can tell there’s no use in writing a review for there to be change. It was well over 97 degrees yesterday, almost in the hundreds. We walked in and the hallways were extremely hot and musty. It also smelt like piss no matter where you went. We finally came to our room to see if was any better and to our relief the ac actually works. The room was disgusting, the floors were dirty and the bathroom door was coming off it’s henges. A man decided to come in right behind my brother and didn’t give us any reason or ask if he could come in last night. Talk about scary! I’m the bathroom there’s part of the toilet paper holder on the floor and the toilet doesn’t flush. It takes forever for the toilet to fill back up to try again. My 5 month old son got sick yesterday because of being in the heat Coming from the car and walking in the hallway. When I tell you those hallways were hot they were hot. When my fiancé tried to turn the ac on in the hallway he noticed green bugs everywhere. Gross. Hopefully this gets fixed. Every other experience I’ve had with Days Inn has been pleasant. Sucks this one wasn’t.
Booked a room here July 14th based on photos and amenities pool and hot tub. Got there and was told the hot tub was broken. Got to our room and immediately noticed the filth, cracked sink, dirty lighting then on closer inspection noticed burn holes on the cabinets and tables, then smashed bugs on the walls as my husband went to go cancel our reservation I waited upstairs and noticed LIVE COCKROACHES climbing on the wall next to the window, grabbed our things and children and left; didn’t even touch anything but the lights three of the four didn’t even work. Called to get our refund and they want to keep 10% to “clean the room” which was filthy for one and we didn’t touch anything but the lighting for two. Called and the man was beyond rude, then told us “you can email me” without providing us an email and hung up on us. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Gross place and absolutely horrendous staff. Will be contacting the Kansas department of agriculture food safety and lodging program in the morning because the cleanliness of this place is beyond filth.
This is the first and last time I’m staying here. The carpet needs to be pulled up cause they reek of piss. Get to my room and the piss smell was in the room too, only one wall socket worked out of 7. It look like someone dropped food inside of the a/c unit which is very outdated. The wall is separated from the ceiling so there’s a foundation problem. I had to kill a spider. I couldn’t wait to check out, wish I could have got my money back. I’m not expecting a 5 star experience from Days Inn but come on it’s 2023 and this place is long overdue for updates
Just put it out like this don't stay at this Days inn. They will rip you off. Make you pay a deposit and will not give it back to. They will not write it down or put it in the computer that you paid a $30 to $50 to $100 deposit. It depends on what they want to charge. They will overcharge you on your room. The Ladies down at the front desk or rude to the customers. And there continental breakfast on-the-go is nothing but cereal lukewarm milk and hardly any coffee the lady b****** about making coffee. The rooms are very nasty. The hallways always smelled of weed and cigarette smoke.
A much older building then the ones I have stayed at before. Construction in the parking area between DAYS INN and another Motel. I should had taken a picture but even saw tiny ants milling about where the A/C was located. Liked like a bunch of nuts was underneath the opening. The bathroom is not that big. It was about 2.5 arm lengths across standing in the middle. Swimming pool, which I didn't use was inside the Facility.
This place is old, outdated, and not very clean. The breakfast was a bag of Chex mix or a granola bar. The gentleman who was I believe in charge if housekeeping was extremely rude. The pool is dirty and seems to be a storage area for random items. Luckily we were there only for a night. Do not stay here! Seriously don’t…Rooms: 1/5
