Auntie Pretzels were awesome. Lynxx and I had fun at the kids play area. REALLY wish kids would take off shoes to play though. I blame the parents. Even though the mall request people to wear mask. Most don't. So why would they take off their kids shoes. Sad thing is. People disregarding basic rules is going to get a child seriously hurt when a boot hits a kiddo in the face, then some parent who also refuses to follow rules sues the mall and then no more kids play area. Sad how the more advanced our tec gets the less we care or respect. Simply sad.
Great sale of kids shoes and clearance items! The Sales Associate was the best part of our trip! She took the time to make sure we had the best price. And she stayed past store hours to complete our transactions. We will definitely be back!
One thing I miss growing up is the malls. When I was a kid the mall used to be the place to go hang out at. Now n days most malls are closed down or empty like the Cincinnati mall. This mall though is full of stores and the food court here is amazing to.
It's very sad to see Amazon destroying the malls especially for those that like to shop clothing in person and return in person. There are still quite a lot of big store chains in here however you are starting to see stores pop up that are mom and pop like how the Salem Mall did before it went downhill. Now the Salem mall back then started having theft issues and safety issues which is ultimately why the big stores left not because of mom and pop stores. The front side of the mall is booming for the outside stores so I think they are trying to build it up. I have faith they will get the Dayton mall back since two of the anchor stores left or went out of business one was elder Beerman which went out of business and the other Sears which I believe is still around but they closed lots of locations. I do feel the Dayton Mall needs more security however. I did go one time and had a random young man following me close to the Chick-fil-A end where it's quite and I finally ditched him by going into a store instead of the exit. On the ends of the malls and in more quite areas where there are exits you need security there for safety reasons. The area not just Dayton Mall has been recently seeing robberies especially around the holidays be careful. It's a nice area but it's off the highway so people could be getting off highway to commit crime and then jump on the highway to flee quickly. The safety of your shoppers is just as important as the safety of merchandise in fact its more important so my advice for them is to hire more guards who patrol the mall inside near the more quite exits, safety of women with children and seniors will ensure that customers return. Ultimately 3 stars is due to lack of security at quite end exits. Also the hours close early now and are not extended for holiday. It's like some stores are still operating on covid store hours. Most places have went back to pre covid hours. I was shocked to see the mall closing at 8pm on Friday and Saturday around the holidays. You still have a lot of hope to keep this mall going due to the all the big stores still left. Work on security, updates to restrooms and hours.
Wide variety of clothing stores, brands, and restaurants. The food court is upstairs. The upstairs is a lot smaller than the main level. Here, there are many different exits so make sure you remember which one you enter through. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good mall-shopping experience. Tip: park at the entrance closest to the store you want to visit in the mall.
Clean people are friendly stores are ready to help you find what you need! Parking is an issue however when other drivers park in 2 spaces so people cant get that space intended be respectful of others thanks
I came, because I haven't been here for years. I found some stores have closed, and it turned into a village. I didn't have time to go through all of them. I went through JCPenney and Ross Dress for Less. I ate at Chick-fil-A. I had to take a different route due to a wreck on 75, which took longer for me to get there. If I had more time, I would have made through more stores.
Today we came to outback for lunch and received a great surprise No Rules Day a free appetizer or dessert we chose shrimp appetizer. Our serve Mikaela was very pleasant and sweet a wonderful time. Thank you Outback
Sign said it was open till 9pm, went in thru Macy's, at 8pm, everything in the entire mall was shutdown except a hair salon, it was a ghost town 1 week before Thanksgiving. Is the dayton mall closing?
Post covid this mall had survivors. I love that this place actually has not only chain stores in it. Granted it has its anchor department stores and yes the common mall stores are here. But this particular mall shows way many more independent businesses that are available for people to shop from. And I have to give a kudos for that. .
