My family and I have been coming here for a long time. We are now leaving due to a few issues. Contracted doctors leaving left and right. I’ve had six doctors leave in the last eight years. You can’t get comfortable with someone because they just leave the practice. I don’t blame them, we’re leaving too. This practice is not what it used to be. Also, I actually feel like I’m bothering the front staff when i ask them a question or need a response. Such a shame.
Been going here for 12 years and I watch the nursing staff go from pure professional to unprofessional and incompetent. They don't answer the phones, poor attitude when meeting up to schedule a appointment. The nurses can't even properly operate the machines or draw blood. Don't even know how the doctors can keep going with such ignorance at the head of this place. The culture here sucks. It's time to move on. Yessss these were typical blac female nurses with attitudes
This is why I'm moving. I had to go in person to try to get something done. No one really don't answer the phones. They are not that busy. No patients in the waiting room or crowded parking lot. " What is the problem!" I'll miss my Doctor, because lack of professionalism there...sad. Hard to find good caring health professionals these days.
My doctor is amazing! The front desk staff is rude, they hang up on you, they don't take your concerns or needs seriously and they blame their behavior due to COVID. which is a lame excuse They don't know how to communicate at all, and I understand everyone is short staff right now, but don't take that out of the clients/patients.
I stopped in to make a new patient appointment. The receptionist was the rudest person I ever met who sat behind a desk to serve people. She even asked me a very unprofessional question. I called corperation who was to return my call and they never did. If all of their staff is rude I will be afraid to be admitted to their hospital.
I just called to schedule an appointment and the receptionist was rude and slow. I told her why I was making the appointment and she said she didn’t understand what the appointment was. She then told me oh you should go to an OBGYN instead of making an appointment. Do you have one? Ummm last I check you’re NOT a doctor and can’t give any advice to patients. Your job is to answer phones and schedule appointments that’s it. My primary doctor knows certain discussions and the history of why I come to her for certain things. I am aware of when to go to an OBGYN. I have been here for about 5 years. This place has really gone downhill. They hire anybody as a receptionist and the wait times are super long even with an appointment. I will have to look elsewhere for better service and health practices.
I love Dr. Madsen, she's friendly, kind and efficient. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. As far as the other reviewer saying she got blocked from the office, they do tell you if you miss two or three appointments without calling ahead they can't serve you anymore. They send letters home as well saying that. If you call instead of not showing up at all you won't have any problems.
My mother just had surgery and has been waiting for a physician form from her physician to be completed. Let's say that the staff does not know how to read. We have had to fax over her forms three times now due to people not following simple directions. I asked if they could email her forms to expedite this process and was told they do not have email capability. Don't understand how and during a pandemic going on this organization does not have the proper technology to accommodate their patients.
I got in a accident and was hit by a car, I was told to follow up with my primary, which this office has been for the last 3 years, I called to set an apt they told me I could not do so without a claim number, So I called back with a claim number to set apt, they told me they had to verify with the agency, That was almost 3 weeks ago, no one ever called me back to set the apt, even though my claim number is verified. Terrible been my doctor's office for the last 3 years and this is how they treat their patients. I am in the process of finding another provider.
I have been going to see Dr. Birardi as my pcp for a few years now and I absolutely love her. She is very nice, nonjudgmental, knowledgeable and professional. She seems to genuinely care about my health and she does not try to “talk me into” a procedure or test that is not necessary, in order to get a payout from my insurance. She’s a great listener and does a great job at addresses my concerns. I have also been seeing Dr. Madison as my gyno for almost 2 years and I love her as well. She is kind, funny and easygoing which makes me feel very comfortable at my appointments. The only thing I don’t like is that she is no longer with this practice because she moved away. The only reason I gave this office 4 stars is because some of the older receptionists need classes on how to be more personable. They always seem disinterested and don’t acknowledge you when you walk up to the desk until a couple awkward minutes have passed by and even then I am the one who usually speaks first and greets them. Luckily they aren’t my doctor so I don’t have to deal with them for more than a minute. HOWEVER their is one receptionist I have forgotten her name but she is a young black woman who makes up for all the other receptionists lacking customer service skills. This young lady greets me with a smile as soon as I walk up to her window. She seems happy to do her job and has kindly helped me with any questions I’ve had. I always go to her window whenever she is there and avoid the others like the plague.
