My dad passed away in the Spokane area and Nate with Lauer Funeral Home was amazing. I live in Minneapolis so I had to do a lot of the coordinating over the phone and Nate was kind, compassionate, and professional. He went out of his way to make the whole process as easy as possible for me. He was quick to respond to all of my questions and concerns. I am very grateful to Layer Funeral Home.

Nate has taken care of both my parents, he's professional, sympathetic, kind and has compassion for what he does. With my mom he came all the way to Walla Walla to pick her up and take her back to Deer Park. Nate has made the death process for both of my parents as beautiful as death could be in the way he took great care of them.

At 48 years old, my son's death came unexpected, Robert had lived in Spokane, Washington for over a decade. This was over 1500 miles from his home town of Kansas City where he grow up and where the rest of his close family members resided. It was on January 23rd of 2019 that I received a call from the Spoken County Coroner's office informing me of his death. I knew none of his friends in Spokane and was at a lost as to how to proceed with dealing with his remains at such a long distance from where I lived in Kansas City. The coroners office gave a list of funereal homes that might be able to assist me. I called several on the list and decided on Nathan of Lauer Funeral. Nathan was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was always available to personally take my phones calls to answer any of my question that I needed answers for.
