Probably actually give it two and a half Stars. I've only been there a couple of times with my dog. It is small and a bit limited for the type of playtime we are used to, but it is a good park for a little break in the middle of town. I'm not sure, but I think there may be a pool. Asquith most everything else it is not as maintained as well as it should be, and I'm certain there is a certain amount of drug activity, and homeless activity. It is unfortunate, but to be expected in public areas. I recommend for a nice minute break with the dog, I will certainly be using it again
The picnic area smelt of urine and was really dirty loved this park as a kid but it’s gone down hill
Still has BBQ grills. Pool next door. Gr8 place on the 4th of July.
These parks don't have restroom cuz sparks is lazy
The pool was huge and clean. They lack seating. Make sure to bring your own. In a hot day a heated pool isn't exactly what you're looking for either. Staff was friendly but they could of warned you when we got there at 12:45, that they kick you out for an hour at 2.
I have reside in the area. On and off, for over 6yrs. The increase in public assaults and harassment in the neighborhood has become alarming. So please, keep diligence being aware of the surroundings. Carefully with strangers approaching with random questions. GOD BLESS US ALL
This park has the potential to be a great park, but it's poorly maintained and seems quite dangerous even during the day. The play area is always full of trash, despite having a crew at the park almost daily to clean. In fact, most of the park is littered with trash and dirty clothing. The homeless have taken over the picnic area, as well as most of the park. The pool may be nice, but it's appeal is dulled by the rest of the park. And the smell! The odor of human waste mixed with cannabis often wafts through the park. I definitely don't like bringing my kid here for swim lessons, despite the staff being great. It doesn't feel very safe.
The park was clean enough for us to BBQ. But there was a homeless presence which thru off the vibe. Overall I give them 1 and a half thumbs up a Q snap and a ding dong with whipped cream on top.
Nice quiet Park seem to be pretty mellow when I visited the past couple times nobody getting crazy and wild stupid a comfortable place to kick back each time I visited to sort my thoughts and enjoy a piece of God's country
Homeless and shady looking people are often seen around here and make me rather uncomfortable and take away from the experience of Deer Park. Deer Park in and of itself has some facilities that were probably nice once but today they seem rather rundown and old. Has a basketball court that I commonly see used and has a small playground. Lots of grass and nice trees, awesome park if there aren't strange people around.
