They don’t even deserve 1 star. The place is filthy. Looks more like a mental institution than a hospice facility. Nurses are RUDE and NASTY. If you care about your loved ones at all for their final days DO NOT send them here! Pictures just sitting against a wall in a patients room, paint peeling on the doors. The smell is horrible. Patient bathrooms are absolutely DISGUSTING and extremely unsanitary. If you try to say anything the staff is doing wrong or corrupt they will try to argue with and fight you and their administration is just as crooked. Your loved ones will NOT be comfortable or cared for in their dying days. To promote this horrendous facility in hospitals is a complete disgrace. They lie and try to manipulate family into believing their facility is and I quote “extremely nice” and the staff is “amazing and caring” all of which is a complete LIE. Even calling them horrible is an understatement. DO NOT SUBJECT YOUR DYING LOVED ONES TO THEIR HORRENDOUS FACILITY !!!
Deer's Head is amazing & has a wonderful nursing stuff. They took great care of my dad. The nurses where there for my mom,brother and I when my dad passed away after being in their care for almost 30 mos. Some of the nurses even called my mom to check in on her to see how she's doing. I have nothing but great things to say about them.
Malik fluker Lpn was let go due to False accusations at a racist facility in Maryland I traveled from Georgia , they fired me via email and didn’t return phone calls I couldn’t speak to anyone in regards to the facility and how they discriminated against me , both facility and agency reported to Equal opportunity employment DeersHead Hospital BEWARE !!!! they are Racist! The Chief nursing executive is a liar ! Beware of sueann the staffing coordinator this place is crooked out by Racist individuals !! I WAS LET GO DUE TO FOLLOWING THE CHAIN OF COMMANDS FOR A 12hr shift And told I’m just an agency worker by Sheri the Director of nursing ! She lied lied lied on me which caused me to loose my staffing job for claiming discrimination against one of her employees !!! THIS PLACE HAS BEEN REPORTED BLACK NURSES PLEASE BEWARE
