This was our 3rd event bringing escape rooms and Remote Control Cars to the patrons of the Library. Our host Cristina has always been a pleasure to work with. They have amazing facilities and truly care about their community engagement. 5 stars for the Deerfield Library.

Great place! Has all the books we need
Staff, collection and hours are good, but the renovation 10 years ago placed the adult section in the basement with virtually no light. Very poorly designed renovation, especially when compared to Northbrook.
This library is a great local library where the librarians are amazing, good resources, helpful, booky and fun! This is a great place to hang out with activities, a new STEM/craft lab, thousands of books for all ages, and a good place to do work/school work too. This library also has great seating and feels very cozy too. I totally recommend this library over any other!
This library has a very fond place in my heart. I got my first library card here as a child and my kids got their first cards here as well. The library went through many upgrades through the years and the librarians and circumstances staff changed but the place always felt like home to me. I no longer live in Deerfield but I still pop in whenever I'm in town. I can no longer check out books but I visit the used book sale area and sometimes just walk around the building.
Great local library. Kids area isn’t fully open yet most toys are put away due to Covid. They usually have a craft or activity for the kids to do while they are there and masks are required in the kids area. They have board games, video games, blu-rays and books to check out for free with no late fees.
Excellent, large quiet study area! Has comfy seating, normal seating with desks, ample lighting, and all the patrons respect the silence of the area. Additional seating is positioned around the library for those who require less silence. The library has a great assortment of books, movies, and games. It is well organized and the librarians are helpful and friendly. 5/5 would recommend.
The place and environment is amazing overall. Study rooms are available and they even give u pens n erasers incase you wanna write on the boards while studying in the rooms. Quiet room is cozy. But lot of thumping from running and playing from the floor above where kids play area is. Bit disappointing when it comes to vending machine. No proper coffee station is available and also limited space to have food. Except for that books are plenty, staff is super friendly. There is also a cell area by the fireplace overlooking parking and playgrounds, which is my personal favorite place.
One of the best libraries in the north shore. The kids area is great for kids 8ish and under with a train table, legos, tons of toys, a separate space for babies, etc. They also have plenty of study areas and other special-use space. The staff is very friendly and there is always plenty of staff to help.
