I love this library it’s so clean & neat events every Friday for the kidsTheron always so FRIENDLY & kind will guide you through your visit if needed help. I just moved to waukegan from Evanston IL it’s great. Best Library in the city highly recommended.
The library has a wide range of books and is a great place to take kids to learn and play. 10/10 recommend this library to everyone I know.
The children's department is under construction right now, but the librarians are working really hard to make sure there are fun things for the kiddos to do. We had a very good time playing there this week.
Not good experience with operators, they make different rules for this library while I generally go to Gurnee library and always had wonderful experience with those guys. Whereas these Waukegan library people give hard time accessing anything related to passes or any freebie. I really regret paying taxes here because I don't get any good easy response from these even after paying a lot. This would definitely affect buying houses in Waukegan because not many people will prefer moving to those locations where this library will come under.
This library is up to date on all selection of movies magazine newspaper information and the librarians are courteous helpful knowledgeable about the information you need also any documents you need to notorized it's free to you and reserve room for meetings two hours computer lab time just ask and they will extend if needed great library love there
Waukegans public library is one of the best, in my opinion. They never disappoint me. If they do t have what I'm looking for, they will get it from another library or order it. They have many educational gatherings for children & adults. Art shows & events.
I was there to play music and it was a great time. The people attending were nice and the staff was great.

Sort of an informal ambassadorial visit as a representative of the North Chicago Public Library.
Has a great kids area. Wish I knew the parking garage across the way was free three hour parking. We will be back to play.
