This is an old estate from the early 20th century that belong to a wealthy family, it’s located on a beautiful plot facing the ocean. There are two main house is on the property that look at the ocean and the view is amazing. Both houses are well decorated with historic furniture and other artifacts, and really interesting to learn about the family who lives there. The whole area in the park are not crowded. Even on the weekend, there are plenty of space to walk around outside and even to have a picnic. If you are visiting Miami, this is a great place to spend a few hours of quiet times. .
Wish we had more time. But we will be back! I absolutely loved this place and the staff was so welcoming and courteous. Very relaxing experience, I appreciate the history behind the estate. Im really considering the membership as there’s a lot of activities happening throughout the year. I enjoyed the rocking chairs outside the stone house, there was really nice breeze while viewing the ocean. I want to do a picnic as well. I highly recommend that you take the time to visit! There was a food truck outside by the entrance called lobster rolls and the wagyu churrasco roll really hit the spot, with the waffle fries, unfortunately I didn’t take a picture.
Deering Estate is a breathtakingly beautiful location that offers visitors a unique and immersive experience in the natural and cultural history of South Florida. From the moment I entered Deering Estate, I was struck by the natural beauty of the surroundings. There are lush forests, wetlands, tranquil lakes and vibrant wildlife. In addition, the historic buildings at Deering Estate are remarkable and offer a glimpse into the past. The Mediterranean Revival architecture of the Grand Stone House is awe-inspiring. As I walked through the rooms of the Stone House, I could feel the weight of history and the stories it held. The furnishings and decor have been carefully preserved to maintain the ambiance of the era. Overall, I recommend visiting Deering Estate if you want to explore a beautiful estate and stunning historic buildings and decor in Florida.
Went during Memorial Day weekend. Tickets were on sale for $5 per person, and will be again for Labor Day weekend. My kids really loved it, especially spending time by the water and watching 2 manatees hanging out there.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$1–5
An incredible oasis in the center of a paradise built only for legends and goddess Truly an imaginary illusion laced in a botanical garden. That stretches for miles in antiquity brought on by hundreds of years of proclaimed historic triumphant glory. Every step through this immense Grove, proclusive garden, you will find a decadent past and a quaint beginning. Finding yourself lucky enough to reach this place with your significant other. I recommend you bring a picnic basket and enjoy it off the coast. On a bench away as the water reaches your feet and the sun glazes in the distance.
Great location for a day out with the family. Several hiking trails and areas to picnic. Beautiful grounds.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$1–5
Very nice location. Great views of the ocean. House is great to tour. Ghost hunters would enjoy this place. Nice grounds to walk around. The holiday decorations were a nice touch. Takes about half an hour to an hour to walk around the houses, but there are trails as well to walk through the preserve.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15

Beautiful, small and peaceful location. There weren't many people when I visited which was nice. The history is interesting but the best part about this estate is the location and magnificent view.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Beautifully decorated during Christmas time and very reasonable prices. If you plan to bring your kids to see Santa though, the line is extremely long so I would recommend getting there right when they open which was 10am. Also make sure to bring your own set of headphones if you want to have audio when looking around the house, as that was not provided. I was surprised there was no obvious gift shop but they did have little markets set up selling random stuff. Its a beautiful estate and the wine cellar is an interesting touch.
