This park have made some changes. Now, they have two playground slides areas and swings for the children to enjoy. People can come and play disc golf a frisbee throwing game. People can play basketball on the courts. This could be a great place to do yoga, work out, etc. They have restrooms, but they are not currently open to the public. They have picnik areas. There is a big field to have events on. Some areas could be cleaned up. The sidewalks could be repaired, and there should be more wheelchair cramps on sidewalks for people with disabilities to access the park.
Great course. The signage was awesome and clear. Nice walk through the woods.
Checked out the disc golf course that was recently put in. The tees are great, signage very clear and loved that there are arrows on the baskets directing you to the next hole. Unfortunately there are a few holes that really don't make sense in how they're laid out. You actually have to walk back the entire hole on a couple to get to the next hole. There are a couple holes that shouldn't be par 3 as there's really very few people who are going to hit the distance needed for a putt. I was pretty happy with it overall, so nice to have a disc golf course within biking distance of the village and I really look forward to any updates they make to the course.
This park gets 3 stars because it's shaded in the hottest hours of the day, which is better than a lot of parks in this area. However no more than that because trash is always everywhere and no one picks up after themselves, and there are always homeless people either sleeping under the gondola or on benches nearby or even lingering near the playground itself, making it not as appealing for kids and their families.
I grew up in the neighborhood. I moved away and revisited this park. I love what they have done. So beautiful. Great get away and do a nature walk. I spotted some fruit trees. Playground: Playground has a soft cork ground. Safe for kids
Beautiful course! 3 stars because there is a homeless man camped right next to the bathrooms in his tent with used needles on the ground and all over the bathroom. Homeless person sleeping in the trees 80 ft from the tee pad on hole 5 and a homeless camp 150 ft straight from the basket on hole 14 right behind a school. Takes away from what is a decent course. Welcome to Atlanta!
This is the newest frisbee golf course in the perimeter one of only two full 18 hole frisbee golf courses inside Atlanta and I absolutely love it I even met the designer who is an absolutely wonderful guy and this is probably the most frequent course I visit very challenging but beautiful and convenient
This park has so much land but the little make over was a Waste except the rest room was a plus. This park have PLENTY OF SPACE FOR WATER PARK.
New disc golf course here at the park is incredible. So happy to have another course ITP.
It's a nice park, but the mosquitoes are abundant this year due to the heat. I'm excited for the baskets to go in for their new disc golf course which should bring some much needed attention to he state of the park, but I am worried that the park may not yet be safe especially after sunset.
