So beautiful. Quite windy last night. High tide. So quiet. Awesome neighbors. Half moon, lots of stars and LOW tide at 5:30 am when I stared a fire for a few hours. Just good times
If you care about your young children, your young daughters especially, please avoid this place. As someone who attended from a young age, it is not safe and a detriment to childhood safety. I wish my parents had protected me from these kinds of extremist groups who use their ideology to justify abuse. Please. Do your research and be careful.
This is a good summer camp if you are of a traditional Church of Christ background. The summer camps are focused more on growing spiritually than on playing games. They tend to do a good job challenging campers and helping them grow in their faith. If you are from a different church background then things may not make sense. Compared to other Christian camps, it is somewhat limited in physical space. It is predominately comprised of one open field which most activities take place in. The boys cabins are more dorm like and are not handicap accessible. The girls cabins are also dorm like and are better like but still require someone in a wheelchair to go up a fairly steep hill. The waterfront cabins are cute. They are fairly original and haven’t been updated. You can rent them throughout the off season for an affordable rate.
My sisters and I attended Bible Camp here and now my daughter and her friends from church AND one of her best friends from school go each year. Wonderful place to focus on your relationship with God and your brothers and sisters in Christ.
Beautiful facilities, I was the climber on a very precarious removal here. Looked like it'd be a great spot for a get-away!
One or more of my children have gone to this camp for nearly eight years. It is a great place to make new friends, deepen old ones, and grow closer to Christ.
Delano Bay Christian Camp is a wonderful place where you can feel right at home and be with like minded christians. The staff is wonderful, the cooks and the food are amazing, and the praise sessions are awesome!
It's a private camp for people of one specific church. It's not open for any other Christians or anyone else. Once a year they have a community day, open to everyone with a few activities. Bring money.
My first glance of the camp left me in awe! Beautiful scenery, wonderful people, and lots of fun! I'm definitely coming back next year!
A nice relaxing area for young teens to learn about God and heal themselfs.
