I have checked in at the ED atleast 3 times for the same reason - a nose bleed. I have never met such a caring, attentive group of people who took care of my nose. They were pleasant, caring and helpful. I was attended by 3 different doctors. It is nice to see the kindness that they showed to me. Thank you.
No urgent care open anywhere near Hancock on the weekends!!! So we headed to the Walton ER this morning where my husband had an excellent experience. We were so happy to meet with Dr Jeffery Gray. He took all the necessary blood tests and chest X-ray to give us final and appropriate diagnosis and prescriptions. All staff were friendly attentive and professional! We’ve been there before for an infected tick bite and shingles. We’ve always gotten the best care.
UHS Delaware Valley Hospital is a very pleasant and professional hospital. The staff is wonderful and caring, and the hospital is exceptionally clean.
The nurses was very professional, took all my needs into consideration, it was a great experience
All the staff are very friendly and comforting. Felt very confident and informed during visit.
*EDIT* I truly had no idea what this hospital was about..... A few months ago, I was very wrong and very uneducated about this hospital and what they do. These people have really made my heart feel at home. My now 98 year grandfather is receiving a lot of care, and it feels from the heart and not from a paycheck. Back a few months ago I wouldn't stop here to use the bathroom, so not the case now. It's the people that make this place great. Please don't stop!!!! Thanks, Pf.
I'm still in disbelief, that a medical professional looked at me and said "Your Grandfather isn't an emergency." I've never seen my Grandfather cry in pain, but today was the first time. I deem that an emergency. It may not fit in your box of emergencies, but it does in mine. But what I want to know is this, if you have something bad to say, about a patient; don't do it in front of the family. 1 star is 1 star toooooooo many.
Nurses and Doctor were awesome, they made me feel comfortable and relaxed!
"You might die waiting for health care here!" During childhood, my appendix was removed at this hospital. Despite a long history of UTI's, this surgery was hastily and unnecessarily performed. The treatment seems sub-par to this day. My dad went to the ER in Delhi for hypertensive symptoms BP 190/111. He was dismissed and told to see his primary at UHS Delaware Valley. He couldn't get an appt until the following week. His primary did nothing to prepare for the appt. He should've told him to fast beforehand for blood work seems like a no-brainer. We went to the appointment, and the doctor didn't perform any tests yet was appalled that the ER had not either. My dad's BP meds were increased and he was placed on probiotics. His BP was still erratic, and he wasn't feeling well. He had tingling in his fingers. His doctor was unavailable or just didn't return his calls, so my dad went to the ER a second time within a couple of weeks due to the inaccessibility of his primary. Currently, he awoke with his eye full of blood, and still, we cannot get proper treatment from this facility. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor, and avoid, avoid, avoid!
I was very short of breath while visiting my son and family. He drove me to the UHS Delaware River Hospital ER. There, I was quickly diagnosed with multiple pulmonary embolisms and a DVT. A call was made to try to transfer me to a larger hospital but it was determined that I should stay put. I just came home after 6 days in the Med Ward. The staff was AH-MAZ-ING!! It's a staff that works as a team. The care I received was superior compared to the 2 large Albany hospitals I have been treated in. Kudos to everyone from food service, to housekeeping to nurse's aides, to nurse's to PA'S and Dr.
