I was referred to Delmoro Funeral Home by a friend and I am so happy that I listened. My initial contact was with Daniella, who took care of my grandma's pre-planning details. She is amazing, very detailed and organized. She explained everything and I didn't feel any pressure. At first I wanted to shop around, but in my heart I felt they were the right place. When it came time to prepare for the funeral, Maureen, Ava, Marc and Nick were absolutely incredible from beginning to end. They went above and beyond our expectations and I cannot thank them enough for getting our family through such a delicate and difficult time. I am forever grateful.

Delmoro hosted a Vietnamese/Buddhist funeral service for my father. I strongly recommend this funeral service as it offers an online service page that you and provide to your guests for directions, picture uploads, and an obituary. Everything was well organized and the service was flexible for a quick turn around on short notice ---- Cathy Le was extremely helpful in helping us select the most cost effective package. She was patient and responsive in communicating throughout the entire funeral service. She explained the funeral service details very thoroughly and organized all communications and arrangements with temple/monks once we provided their contact information. Cathy was also able to take care of all of the government paperwork and even able to assist us submit the Survivors Pension Benefit. I strongly recommend working with her as she's easy to work with and is familiar with Vietnamese customs.

Delmoro was a good facility and had a good experience with the service. Some staff were very amazing, wanted mention Nadine was great. The only reason why I'm giving 3 stars is Cathy Le who helped us wasn't very pleasant. She was not patient, understanding or empathic when we asked questions. Hopefully in the future she is more tolerant of grieving family members not understanding the whole funeral process.

In the past, getting onto the BlackCreek on-ramp to the 401, I would see the funeral home and have gloomy feelings, but not anymore. After having the experience dealing with the wonderful team at Delmoro Funeral Home for my father's funeral, I remember how smooth and flawless the process of putting my father to rest was. From the comforting staff, thoughtfulness with which they conduct themselves, and the beautiful venue, I can not give any more high praise. I would like to give my utmost gratitude to all involved handling the services but I will not forget Marc, Louisa, Ava, and Nick. Every little minute detail was understood; communication and availability was not an issue. Sadly having gone through several funerals in my family, I would say Delmoro has set the bar very high and shown that they can alleviate such a stressful time for anyone who has lost any loved ones. Marc and the team at Delmoro Funeral homes made the difficult process of laying a loved one to rest easy and simple. With clear communication and understanding, they were able to curate an experience and service, especially with sending a loved one back home. Couldn’t have asked for a better team.

Unfortunately my family had to use a funeral home twice in a span of three years. DELMORO FUNERAL HOME was chosen by my mother for my father’s funeral and had a pre arrangement for her own. DELMORO has continued to provide great service, making sure my family is supported and is not alone in the process. We are grateful for their service and highly recommend for families that may unfortunately need a funeral home.

Some logistics for those who don't want the whole story: - Very prepared, well-trained staff; they have big hearts, and will treat your family with love and respect...especially if you give it back in return. - They are wheelchair accessible, and very accommodating. - Staff will make helpful suggestions, and never pressure you and your family to make specific choices. They will do their best to get you the most for your money. - They take care of all the details if you want them to; let them do their job, they do it very well. - There is a lot of parking, and they are very easy to get to off the 401/400. - Use Choice Catering for any kind of food you want to have at the funeral home and/or reception. They are exceptional as well, and will never leave you or your visitors hungry. - If there's something you really want to happen, tell them because they will do anything in their power to deliver. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To say the staff at Delmoro are exceptional is an understatement. My grandfather passed away on December 1, 2016, and they handled him and my family with care from start to finish. If you're looking for a funeral home who will take care of every single detail for you, and leave you to focus on what matters--being with family and friends--then Delmoro is for you. Marc and Merili were two of the kindest souls for us to encounter at such a difficult time, and we will be forever grateful to them, and the entire staff who cared for us at Delmoro. We wanted the experience to be that of family and friends coming over for a visit. So the staff set up the room with couches and comfortable seating. They also allowed us to have roasted chestnuts and dried figs for visitors; two of my grandfather's favourite snacks. Their public lounge had a fancy hot beverages machine Saeco, and a constant flow of cookies for visitors. My family even had use of the private lounge where we could take breaks throughout the day with no intrusions. My grandfather had a special love for my mother's puppy, Chloe, and we were allowed to have her there with us while at Delmoro. Not only that, Nick even went so far as to purchase a dog bed, food dishes, food, and a toy for Chloe, giving her a special corner of the room that was all for her. What other funeral home do you know that has gone above and beyond for a family like that? I've never wanted to revisit a funeral home before Delmoro. Not only do I feel comfortable going back there, I look forward to seeing the kind faces who were right there with me and my family through this very difficult time. We love the staff at Delmoro, plain and simple.
