Delux Cafe

Very interesting decor in the bar and the service is impeccable! It’s a bit of a tight fit so if you’re not into that you may not like it. All of the staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was okay. I had the fish tacos - the fish itself was great but could have used a bit more flavor. Not sure if it was how it was seasoned or the weird taco. Drinks were good! And if you’re a beer drinker they had some good local ones. Keep in mind: It is cash only!

Friendly staff, great local place ambiance, decently good, reasonably priced food served quickly. Shame our cocktails were super weak, despite watching the bartender do a full pour for each one. Can only surmise the bottles are not full of what is on the label or the liquor is watered down. Won't be back due to this.Food: 4/5

Tempted to write a bad review just yo keep people off. Me and my partner was on Wednesday night. Staff was super nice. Food is good, the arugula salad and eggplant tacos are especially recommended. Menu cocktail we ordered was a bit too weird for my taste but we ordered some classics and they were great.

Hole-in-the-wall bar with 10 tables. Somewhat festive environment. CASH ONLY - paying taxes is for suckers. Limited menu done well. Bean and cheese quesadillas came with a very tasty fruit salsa. Fish tacos were fresh, although they could’ve used a bit more seasoning. My boyfriend liked his mushroom tacos. Only one dessert on the menu: a brownie with ice cream. However, they were out of ice cream and were still charging full price, so we passed. The gas over five dollars per gallon, I guess I’m being extra cheap these days. The drink menu looks good; however, we’re both on the wagon this week so didn’t get to try any.

Vibe is spot on. Beer and cocktail list are great. Staff is amazing. Menu looks terrific and smells even better although I haven’t yet partaken. I’ll be back.

Cute little Bar Restaurant! Lots of memorabilia on the walls! They only accept cash, but had an ATM accessible in the back. Staff was extremely friendly and the food was delicious! Great first stop on our vacation

Loved it years ago when we'd stop by after band practice for a cold one, love it now. Though the clientele has changed a bit, the vibe remains amazing and fun. Love the retro-esque decor, the albums on the wall, the music, and attentive, best of the very best lovely staff. Food is amazing, not typical bar food. Please be patient when it's packed which is all the time and if you'd like to sit at a table , you must put your name on a list with the over the moon awesome Andy at the door, and wait. I love love love Delux - our very fav Boston hang.

Had the burger here a little over a week ago and cannot get over how juicy it was. One of the best burgers I've had since moving to Boston over a year ago. Oven fries were very good, too!
