The warm pita bread was the best. The gyros were good but I have had better cooked lamb. The salad was good. I liked the atmosphere. My wife said the rice was excellent. The food portions were so large , we ended up taking a lot of it home.Recommended dishesGyros Plate

Time is 10:17 pm just called Dengeo’s a couple of minutes ago because they messed up my family’s order! My mom bought my dad lunch had ordered over the phone Onion Rings, a Steak Sandwich and a Chocolate Cake! The guy was rude over the phone rushing my mom to order and be rude with her over the phone instead of having the decency to have manners and be patient with her as she was ordering. When she gave her card over the phone he was saying “Woah Woah, being rude acting like he couldn’t hear and she was repeating the card slowly and with great pronunciation! We were charged over the phone at least $23.00 and was not given a Chocolate Cake but on the Receipt MilkShake which they didn’t give either after we paid for the item!! The Chocolate cake was $5.00 Ridiculous! My dad drove there then came home only to be disappointed that there was no Chocolate Cake or Milkshake on the receipt as stated! I immediately called the store and they claimed my dad walked out before they could even make it! First of all dumbfounded lady, it’s your job to make sure the customer gets what they paid for before they leave with their food and to make sure that before the customer comes to pick up their meal everything is in the bag and that you give good customer service to make sure they have everything! I work in retail and know and make sure that the customer is always taken care of and well-respected on the phone and in public when visiting your restaurant. No, you did not give good customer service, nor did the guy talking to my beloved mother over the phone! We will not be ordering food from your restaurant anymore after the disrespect we received. Customers, please be aware of where you choose to Dine, because Excellent Hospitality Customer Service is Number 1, If a restaurant or any business can’t provide this they do not deserve to be in Business. Dengeos is no longer worth the positive feedback and stars that it appears to be! The Food is not the same 21 years ago, it fell down hill! And the Workers are more rude than ever! When you disrespect my parents you disrespect me, all you care about is money not making customers happy! You think refunding 5.00 after being rude over the phone is going to replace your attitude? And you still were rude after refunding? Looks are Deceiving

Delicious food, awesome service, wonderful atmosphere. Definitely a new go-to when in Skokie/Chicago, IL. First time here and Zach was super nice. He gave us our beverages on the house because we were first timers. If you're ever in Skkoie on Main &McCormick, stop in and say Hito Zach and the crew. Vegetarian options: Lots of options! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Very clean, food always made fresh.

We stepped out for a quick lunch. It was a curious, functional, sort of atmosphere. The food was good, but the atmosphere akin to a subway newsstand. More than fast food, but less than a restaurant. If all you want is to refuel your stomach, this place is fine.Food: 4/5

First place at this establishment didn't know what to expect and wow the selections of food the smells of the ribs cooking overwhelming for the senses. I had the Italian beef which was really really good my friend had the half slab of ribs which were awesome had a taste of that wow are they good. All in all I recommend this place highly than anybody wants to try some good good cooking. The food selections are insane they have something for everyone one thing I will say is that barbecue smell was awesome in that place

Dengeos Restaurant is the best! This place is full of very delicious Greek food. Everything is made to perfection! High quality, reasonable price, and the taste of the food say it all. I love their selection of sandwiches, actually, I ordered their famous Skirt Steak Sandwich and their Gyros. I also got some pizza puff and cheese fries for the sides. All of it was amazing! The Skirt Steak literally melts in my mouth, as well as the Gyros, and the fries are very tasty. Plus, I ordered some of their cool beverages. Really satisfying offers! Their staff is very decent, attentive, and very accommodating. All of them know how to handle and take care of their customers. They serve the orders right and very quickly. Such great customer service! The whole place is clean, organized, and very cozy. Spacious dining room and comfortable seating. Plenty of decorations and designs. Great place to bring your family and friends. All of their portions for their food are really big and great. Really love this place! Will definitely be back soon! Very delicious Greek food! I've been coming here for years from Wisconsin, it's that good!! The service system is very smart and fast. Even when it's super busy you get your food quick. The soups, chicken breast dinner, tilapia dinner, cheese burger, chicken sandwich, salads, gyros, are all extremely good! Everything is good! Almost named the entire menu! ha ha! But truly it is a very good restaurant with very good food and very good service. 1,000% RECOMMEND!

Food was OK. Good amount. The folks in the front taking the orders could be more inviting and thankful you came. The folks passing out the food from the grill were nice and said thank you. Always a nice and easy touch.

I love this place!! Everything is amazing here. The food, the customers, the staff. Everything! I really enjoy the food. I go here a lot I used to go here when I was younger, the last thing I’ve ordered was a greek salad with everything on it. And it was honestly the best salad I have ever had.
