This is an absolute classic. Great breakfast, great coffee served in those brown cups. If you sit at the counter you can watch Gus work. He is one of the all time great artists to watch. Make 20 things at once and never miss a beat. Poetry in motion. Fast service and great food. Don't miss it! One of the best!

great little restaurant! not flashy, just really good food! Cooks and wait staff are very nice very pleasant people reasonably priced best steak and eggs I've had in 5 years! Delicious! This a little local breakfast cafe with an amazingly fast chef Gus, who is also the owner. Before you can finish placing your order the chef has whipped it up. Great classic American breakfast joint, also good sandwiches. Small menu.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Open grill to watch your order being made. A good representation of a classic diner. Very clean. I felt the food was great. Waitresses always came by to refill the coffee. Big winner for me.

I love this place!!! Every time I go there I have a great breakfast or lunch prepared exactly the same every time. I have going here off and on for over7 years at least 1 a week and plan on stopping. If your looking for a great ma and pa place you just found it. THANK YOU MR. GUS, your the best!!!

I've been a regular here for years, and know and love Gus too. Best breakfast in town, the locals get the breakfast specials - the mexican steak is amazing with eggs, potatoes, hot sauce in a skillet. The pancakes are to die for, made with Gus's own special formula. Love the flat burger and they have a great turkey club sandwich.

Gus listens while you order and is cooking right then. You won't get your food faster anywhere. Great friendly service. Sun Times always available. Old fashioned greasy spoon.

Awesome food! Polite service and quick serve times. I went for breakfast while traveling through the country. They do not take credit/debit so bring cash. There are ATM right down the road in gas stations.

I really like to main things here: the great pancakes and watching Gus, the short order cook who has been here for a long, long time but will retire, apparently, in the not distant future do his grill routine. The waitresses give him verbal orders, he seems to remember all the various permutations, and he gets all that food out really quickly. Never a water motion. I always sit at the counter instead of a table in the back room, because it's fun to watch the Master at work.

A favorite go-to breakfast & lunch spot. Chef Gus & waitress Val won't let you leave until you're full. If you like watching the magic of a short-order cook at the grill, be sure to sit at the counter.
