We provide dance instruction in a fun and non-competitive atmosphere for our students from 2 1/2 years of age to adults. Dance belongs to everyone!
We provide a fun, professional and non-competitive atmosphere for our students who range in age from 2 1/2 to adults. Dancers receive instruction (beginner through advanced levels) for a solid foundation in many dance forms. Personal creativity, confidence and self-discipline are encouraged through structured classes which emphasize the joy of dance.
Baker School of Dance was first established in 1935 by Irma Baker and she danced with us until she was 98 years old! Denise Baker (her daughter) is the owner of our current studio and she teaches ballet, jazz, tap, broadway & ballroom. The next generation Kyle Hatfield now teaches at our studio as well teaching ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, broadway, and our performance group. This beautiful family has opened their arms to Erin Sikopoulos, Joanne McFadden, Jaimie Gardiner, Amie Skoda, Ana Catchpole-Loveless, Kaiti Ryan, and Olivia Dutelle and we are like one big happy family here at Baker School of Dance.
