The number one question people ask me is why I decided to become a dentist. I think most people expect me to say that I dreamt of canines and molars starting in 3rd grade. That’s the furthest thing from the truth. Before I became a dentist, I never thought about teeth.
I’ve always been very aware of outstanding customer service. When I was young, I worked at my dad’s Shell gas station. He taught me to focus on taking care of the customers.
So, at an early age, this concept was instilled in me. And, it continued, as I kept getting different jobs. When I sold shoes at Carson Pirie Scott in high school, customer service was my focus. When I worked as a waiter in college, customer service was my focus. That focus on providing amazing customer service has always helped me to excel in those positions.
While I was in college, I made an appointment with a new dentist. His name was Frank Munoz. He was a recent graduate of Northwestern University Dental School. The minute I walked into his office I knew it was going a different experience. One that I have never experienced before.
Dr. Munoz greeted me with sincere warmth. He was truly interested in me. He was extremely competent and did a fantastic job explaining the procedures to me. I was given the most thorough exam and cleaning. I was wowed.
That was the day I decided to become a dentist. I wanted to make people feel the way Frank made me feel.
Since our office opened, that has been our focus – to provide amazing customer service.
That means greeting every patient warmly and by their name. It means to answer questions the best to our knowledge, and if we don't have the answer then we find out. We strive to be transparent with our pricing. To provide patients with treatment that they need and want. To provide a long lasting beautiful product that is guaranteed to last. To create an environment where our patients feel comfortable and at home. To help our patients have beautiful smiles. All in all to treat people as you would like to be treated.
This philosophy has helped our office to grow and build a loyal following.
