I believe that the term “dental practice” is a misnomer because in my view a dental practice is really a small business and the same principles that will insure success for a any small business are the same ones that if applied will insure success as a dental business. As dentist we not only provide a valuable service to our patients but also serve as executives. Taking an executive approach to dentistry will enable dentists to create personal, professional and financial fulfillment.
