Got one star because I had to give it. They deserve less. Very unhappy with the service I got here. I worked with them for several months they was making me a set of dentures. Upper and lower teeth. The top teeth are beautiful. However the bottom teeth have a natural bite that is sideways, so as I talk I am biting my lips. I have to work to get them to line up properly. During the last appointment the doctor refused to bring the mirror out every appointment before that they had a mirror so I am pretty sure the doctor knew these teeth were going to be too bulky and that is why I was not allowed to look at them during the appointment. When I got home I tried to wear them but I kept biting myself, I looked like I was chewing tobacco they pushed my front lip out so much, and I could not talk because it was like I no longer had room in my mouth for my tongue. When I called the office I was told I had not even tried to get used to them. I responded by telling them this is not a matter of getting used to them, I have worn dentures for a number of years and these were not going to work as I was biting my lips because they did not square up. The secretary said she would talk to the doctor and call me back. When she called me back she said the doctor said to bring them back and I would not need an appointment for that and the dentist would see what he could do. Confused I waited the weekend and continued to try to wear them despite I knew they was not going to work. I called back Monday morning today and asked what the plan of attack was that they did not need me. The receptionist then explained to me that I needed to bring both sets of teeth back there was no resolution. Pretty upset I called my insurance company who informed me I should have never been left feeling threatened because I was unhappy with the teeth and they would be investigating this. They also told me if I liked the top teeth they was billed separately and I could keep them but to inform them of when I take back to bottom ones to make sure they do not get charged for them. Very unprofessional....I got punished because I wanted my teeth to fit, I guess I was wrong when I assumed it was the dentist job to adjust them til they had them right.
I had to cancel my 9am appointment at 8am when my son woke up vomiting. I was greeted with a voicemail. I left one. I called back at 10am to apologize to a real person and I'm told I am not able to reschedule. ONE time having to cancel outside of the 48 hour window. I have never been treated like that anywhere before. I have two exposed nerves and have been anticipating this appointment for weeks. I can't believe how let down I am. I thought I found a family friendly dentist for my son and I. I'm so disappointed.
I've been here several times and everyone including all of the secretaries have always been really nice and friendly, professional and caring. They treated my children and I like we were family. They went above and beyond my expectations especially when my 3 year old needed emergency surgery. Atmosphere, energy, mood and experience were all top notch. The waiting room is clean and bright, family friendly and comfortable. The bathroom was super clean and had a baby changing table. They also had nice thick & soft toilet paper and good smelling soap. I appreciate this! Tells a lot about a company. The kids are given tokens at the end of thier visit and they use it to get two toys out of gumball toy machines. All of these things combined with super friendly staff gives me a warm feeling every Time we visit. Would definitely recommend!
My two year old son and I went in for a cleaning. This was my son's first visit to a dentist and I couldn't have been more happy with the experience! Dr. Aharon and the assistants were amazing! My son was so comfortable the whole time and the atmosphere was so warm and happy. I have had work done since then, an extraction and fillings. Each time I go, there is laughter and smiling faces. The extraction was a breeze and not painful at all, which is a huge plus for me. If I can go in without worrying about pain, I can look forward to going to the dentist and having work done. I will definitely be sticking with them and referring to everyone I know!
The dentist is amazing. That being said. My husband has been denied treatment twice by the completely unprofessional and extremely rude receptionist. The first time she called the wrong number for appointment confirmation. This being his first visit he was banned from being a patient. He appealed to the dentist and was allowed to another appoointment. My husband is a stickler for timing. He plans for at least 1/2 hr grace periods so as to be very be late. He wrote appointment for 1230 because it was scheduled for 1. But when we walked in the receptionist smiled and said "You are late. It was at 10" and walked away. If you have ever been to this office you know that she never smiles. To be honest we are truly offended and he is still deciding if this is the place for our children to be seen. Again the DR is amazing. But we will probably be talking to council and leaving his practice.
Dr. Aharon and his staff are so wonderful, caring, and thoughtul! They have always gone above and beyond to secure my comfort and trust in everything they do! The staff gets to know you, and makes you feel like you're more than a patient. I have had such great experiences over the past few years of coming to Dentistry Today and would recommend Dr. Aharon to everyone! Thank you!
I believe it's unprofessional to have a meeting in the back, have customers waiting in the front, and all you can hear is people laughing. I got to my appointment early, only to stand and wait over 10 minutes for somebody to come out of the closed room in the back of your business. Yes there was a sign there, and I was writing a note because I was going to be late for my next appointment at another place for another issue. I asked the girl, when she finally showed up at the window, to just throw that away for me if she would, and she said she would. And now I get a letter from you guys! I told a few people it was unprofessional, "everybody is included in the meeting, she wouldn't know what's going on in the meeting if she wasn't in the meeting". Doesn't somebody take notes so they could give them to the girl in the front of the business? The only notes I think that would have been taken in the meeting is laughter..... hahaha, I waited over 10 minutes, I think that's unacceptable and now you dropped me as a client because of my note? That I'd already asked to have thrown away? So now we have a privacy issue I guess, I can't even ask somebody to throw a note away without the whole office reading it! That is bad business! You guys have always been good to me, my next appointment was scheduled for another 8:30 appointment, you should not be scheduling appointments if nobody's going to be available to help you. You might schedule your meetings earlier before work starts, then you won't have people waiting on your service. It wouldn't have been so bad had I not had an appointment with my heart doctor. This is the first time I've had to wait anywhere that long, to only hear people laughing and giggling in the back most of the time. What kind of productive business were you going over in that meeting? I guess dental work is just a funny business. I want somebody who can take the proper care of me and my teeth in a reasonable manner. Nothing wrong with a little laughter, you guys all have great personalities, but you're ignoring your clients... I don't like that at all! You need to rethink your policy on your meetings. I was told when I was there you have them every morning.. I'm sure I'm not the first person who has complained, did anybody who ever complained about that get dropped also? That's what I'd like to know. I guess it's all about the money, it's always about the money. If you have to have the meetings, they should be quick, in and out, before clients come in... especially in your type of business with the front door open, so people can come in and just sit and wait, and wait, and wait, and wait. Everybody's time is money!
Our first appoitment was great, we had a very complicated case. They were informative and thorough. The assistant was lovely, and the dentist was very personable and seemed genuinely interested in our sons best interest. We are switching our family!!!
The dentist and his assistants were very nice but I was not impressed by the overall treatment we got. When we arrived there was a big, bold, red sign on the door that said something about being punished if you don't park correctly. Then when we received the paperwork from the front desk, there was another HARSH document making a statement about missing appointments and the consequences. I filled out my paperwork and when I returned it to the front desk, I told the woman there that the sign on the door and the HARSH document about missing appointments didn't exactly make me feel very welcome. The woman snapped at me and went on to explain all of the hardship that parking and missed appts cause...as if I was doing those thngs. She had a terrible attitude...not professional or courteous.
I just wanted to say if you don't have to go there don't!! My last time there I asked him why it took so long to get a appointment just to pick up my new dentures. It two and a half weeks well the Dr threw his hands up in the air and said to me quite loudly I might add, that you people with FREE FEDERAL INS ARE LUCKY THAT I TAKE ANY OF YOU AT ALL, YOU SHOULD APPRECIATE THE FACT THAT I DO BECAUSE THERE IS NO ONE ELSE THAT DOED IN THE AREA!! This is after the fact that he pulled all my teeth at once including my bottom ones, which I did not want pulled! He told me that if I didn't let him pull all my teeth he would not sign off on my knee replacement!!!! I have worked all my life and had fallen at work and lost my insurance through work so I needed Medicaid for my dental care. I was so embarrassed after he made that remark I thought that was so inappropriate for a professional and I use the word loosely. I would not recommend him to anyone!!!!!
