Great breakfast items, lattes, and coffee! Accommodating staff too!

32oz Spaten Optimaor Beer, German Ruben, Potato Salad, Potsto Soup, Rye Bread, Kraut, ... What more need be said? The prices are reasonable and the portions are beyond fair. The beer garden, even with the bustle of Rockford traffic, is quaint and quite enjoyable. The staff, Kat, is very polite, accommodating, and knowledgable. This is a place that I strongly suggest everyone visit.

Absolutely love this place the food and beer are really really good. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming plus having the outside beer garden where you can sit and enjoy a nice evening is a fantastic addition to this restaurant.

Excellent food, much different and in my opinion improved since the reopening in 2020. Definitely try the breakfast sandwiches when they're available, but really it's hard to go wrong.

Servers are very friendly. 'Cat' is great. Food is authentic and delish. Beer cheese is the answer to all problems. Their beer is also tasty. Downstairs is quirky.

Had a meal there a few weekends ago. All the food was great. Service was fast. Recommended.

Didn't try any of the specialty entrés, but had the Knackwurst sausage and the beer cheese pretzel which were both pretty good. Relaxed atmosphere during lunch, with a dim cellar for more private dining, and a fairly large outdoor seating area for a more open experience. Brown mustard is kept at every table for quick access for your sausages

Haven't been their for a long time. Glad we went. Great service. Great food. Plenty of it to. Brought alot home. We'll be back soon.

Food was delicious. Staff was very kind and straightforward even though I showed up 30 minutes before close. I am definitely coming back and recommending this restaurant to friends and family.
