Christopher Funk, DPM is the BEST! He has the patience of a saint my personal experience. He calmly explained the options for my situation and explained each thoroughly. Even though I was the last patient of the day, they all made sure everything was done with care and didn't ever make me feel rushed. The staff are wonderful, caring and quick to get any answers to my questions. Friendly staff both front and back office. The office is run very smoothly and efficiently. Minimal wait times even though they are a busy office. I am unable to clip my toenails anymore and they always do an excellent job for me. Dr. Peter Merrill is the best and is currently doing laser treatments for a fungal infection on my toenails and I'm very pleased with the results thus far. .
This podiatrist office is very clean. The Green Valley office is conveniently located where it’s very accessible from La Canada Dr. The receptionist Jan is always smiling n very helpful. They don’t overbook, so ur appointment time is what it is. Dr Pfau is ver pleasant, charming, very professional n knowledgeable. N very tall.I was very impressed with his knowledge because he corrected me on issues I had read in the internet not to be acceptable in my case. Thank u Dr. Pfau.!
I am an avid hiker and backpacker with complicated feet and a history of much toe pain and multiple surgeries. I am fortunate to have found Dr Merrill at Desert Podiatric. His skill and concern are enabling me to continue to do what I love.
Dr. Funk and his staff are amazing! I had broken a toe over the weekend that they were able to get me in quickly to confirm my diagnosis and treatment plan!
I have been to the Orange Grove office a few times. I am always treated well and the staff members are friendly and helpful. Dr Whitaker is a great doctor and I have referred others to him!
Overall bad experience. I went in for an ingrown toenail, so a pretty simple procedure, with Dr. Whitaker, and he either didn't wait for the toe to be completely numb or didn't use enough local anesthetic because I was yelling in pain when he was cutting the side of the nail out and didn't seem to believe that I was in pain. I've had this procedure done once before somewhere else and it went smoothly and I didn't feel a thing. Also, they didn't send me an actual bill and I didn't know it wasn't completely covered by my insurance until I got a letter from a debt collector almost two years after the procedure and when asked to be sent a record of the bill, they claimed that they didn't have access to that information anymore. I would recommend choosing somewhere else if you can.
Dr. Prau was great before and after my surgery. Explains the process thoroughly.
Dr. Funk is awesome, front staff are very nice. Very pleased with how my surgery went.
I called Thursday at 8am, and was able to be seen at 9am for an urgently needed surgical procedure. Katia front desk was super helpful, and Dr. Peter Merrill was wonderful. He explained my predicament fully, discussed surgical options, and performed the procedure flawlessly. I strongly recommend this facility for its stellar patient care.
