I've been to the previous Newark campus and the current campus and I have to say, it was a total upgrade! The campus may be compact but with the aesthetic and feel of a modern tech company. Classrooms are modern and even contain modern technology to connect to other DeVry campuses for a single class. The professors here definitely know their curriculum frontwards and back and make sure that each student is able to understand it properly, providing any assistance for any problem a student may come across. The staff there is always courteous and helpful when helping students or visitors, providing them with information or resources to answer any questions with regards to enrollment and class information. They'll always offer you any refreshments if you're waiting for an appointment which is a nice touch to any college campus.
Attending Keller Graduate School of Management changed the directional course of my life. June 2016 I walked across the stage at Chabot College with an MBA Human Resource Concentration. Rewind 2 1/2 years back, my supervisor but a "bug" in our ears that it would be "best" to return to school to add value to our positions within the company. I read between the lines. I had always said I would get my Masters degree "some day" and in order to keep my job someday had a date. I looked into other schools but there was something about DeVry. Yes, the corporate discount helped but the whole application experience was reassuring. At the time I was traveling about 60-70% out of the year for the last 9 years - how in the world was I going to balance that?! Not only did the online option allow me to balance work, travel and my school responsibilities, it allowed me to learn no matter what city or country I was in - the curriculum is absolutely on-target with what's going on in the workplace, delivered by instructors who actually work in the field! I was learning and taking in so much that I applied for another job based on classes I was taking with Keller and was able to accept a position off the road - even before graduation! Since I've been able to start my family, spend more time with loved ones and leverage the skills I attained at Keller within my company. And, I met an amazing student at Keller who became my tag team study partner and now a lifelong friend - truly the cherry on top. This is just my Keller story - I challenge you to enroll and create you own. I promise you won't regret it.
I am a student in DeVry University and i really like the new campus built in Newark. It has a great reception area at the entry with friendly advisers ready to help with any doubts about educational or financial area. There is a huddle space along with quite area study for students to sit and complete their assignments. A separate area with computers and printer for students to access their portals and print their documents. Free coffee, snacks are available to make it comfortable for students to enjoy and study together. The best thing i like about the new campus is advanced electronic classrooms which makes it easier for students to understand the subject and attempt their exams with deep understanding.
I am an online student and, while I have been to this campus and it is a wonderful campus; I have received such great care and special interest from the Professors that you meet online. In particular, I just took a class with Professor Tiffani Davis. I don't usually struggle with classes, but I was having a real rough time with her class. She would email me as many times as I needed help. Sometimes, multiple times in a night. Also, I went through a personal tragedy while in her class and almost dropped out of school. Yet, she wouldn't let me. I wound up with an A. DeVry online Instructors really care and I highly recommend these courses.
First off, everyone here is really friendly and supportive of helping the students succeed. The campus is compact. But it's really nice and very comfortable. There is a quiet area, a lounge, classrooms, and a computer lab for students, among other areas. Today is my first day on campus, but I've found it to be a great experience and I encourage anyone considering to come to this campus to come check it out.
I attend DeVry online for medical billing and coding. They have been amazing to me. I don't think I would be doing near as great and making a solid 4.0 without them. Student support is great. Academics are great and you have hands on learning even going from online. DeVry Alumni forever.
I graduated with my MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management and can't brag enough about my experience. The staff was attentive and caring, the faculty were experts in their field which provided valuable first hand insight, and I met some lifelong friends as well as networked a great deal. The experience is definitely dependent on what you put into it and I'm so happy I made the decision to attend.
I have been a student at DeVry University for 4 years now. I have completed my Undergrad my MBA and now completing my MNCM. I am going to be finishing my dual degree in less then two years. It is because DeVry University offers fast pace courses with the same material/books that is offered in other Universities. DeVry offers both online and onsite classes. Initially I was a little hesitant on the online classes as I was more of the traditional student It was difficult for me to remember to do the discussion, couple times I even forgot I had an online class. Overtime it got better and I realized the importance of these online classes. It is just so much more convenient that I can sit at 12 at night and still be able to read my lecture for the week. Overall, my experience has been good with this University.
DeVry University's Newark Campus is a great place. As a student, really enjoy the tech feel the campus gives off. Appreciate the open space so I don't feel like it's close quarters. This is a great place to go to school
If your going to be living in the dorms get ready for the outrageous cost for room and bored and not to mention half the people that live there dont even attend the school. The dorms house mostly junkies and social awkward nerds that have never even touched let alone interacted with an attractive female. If you enjoy talking to people and being outside this is not the place for you. Not to mention the classes are expensive as well and teach you virtually nothing and any class that would you just go to a computer lab to do on your own which defeats the purpose of being on a so called campus. Big cash grab, save your money and attend any community college and transfer out if that is what your looking for. If not expect these crusty smelly dorms with minimal upkeep and less then helpful staff around and almost 90% of the population is Male zit popping anti social druggy weirdos that some how still think there better then other people when they couldn't get into a real college. Just heed my warning look else where...
