They have a surprising selection of flowers and balloons. The place looks nice inside even among good-looking grocery stores. What's more, there is a huge meat smoker which sits in front of the building. So cool.
After a disastrous experience at Walmart’s Bakery, my son had no 3rd birthday cake. I came into Dierbergs, hoping someone could write on a cake and salvage what would already be an uneventful birthday because of Covid. It needed to be somewhat special and without a cake, I was left to figure out what to do at the last minute. The two young bakers not only helped, stayed late to decorate a cake, and made it extra special, but the cake was delicious, beautiful, and my son just loved it!!! A++++ experience and given the circumstances, I am truly grateful to those women for making my sons birthday even better than expected!!
I had a very pleasant experience at Dierbergs today. I was having difficulties with my key fob. The young gentleman who was retrieving carts was concerned enough to ask if I needed help. I don't know his name but he deserves special kuddos because he was so nice to be concerned. Dierbergs if you know who he was, it was 12/28 at approximately 2:15, please tell him, again, for thank you very much
Everyone in the whole store is friendly knd couteous except the people in the deli and fish dept They need to ask people if they want their fish fried or baked and the And seasoning is right by them. They didn't have a clue where is was located. Other than this I love shopping at Dierbergs.
Love to get a home-cooked meal. Always yummy. I do think they need to make more. Too many people know about this now!
Great fresh produce and a great cheese selection along with a solid meat department.
I typically choose to shop at this Dierbergs… But today could not find a few things that I was needing. On one aisle looking for a particular pasta and was clearly struggling to find what I needed; two Manager-looking individuals walked by me didn’t bother asking me if I need anything or any help. Then, a customer walks by and they immediately ask him if he needs anything! Crisis averted! Left and went to Schnucks. Found everything I needed AND some helpful associates...
Very clean and comfortable. I always find good deals! I love being there. I know where everything is located. People are friendly. They support Special Needs people by giving them jobs. It’s an awesome place to shop!!!
I grew up in Ballwin, MO but left for college on the East Coast and now reside in Denver, CO with my wife and kids. I always say to folks here not to take Dierberg's for granted because there is no other grocery store like it. However on my latest trip home for Thanksgiving 2018, we stopped by to get some donuts from the bakery on our road trip back to Denver. We were there at 6:30am on Black Friday and there were no donuts available. I was really taken back by that. Here in Denver we have a Kroger's owned grocery chain called King Soopers. They have donuts out every morning by 5:30am. I thought surely Dierberg's would have them out. While not having donuts out at 6:30am is not life-ending it still is enough to downgrade my experience from being perfect. Dierberg's has a high reputation and the expectation is that the little things are never an after thought. Good experience, but not great.
I deliver bread at this location and it is a great location. Their staff is always helpful, shelves are stocked full. And there salad bar is excellent. Great promo's too
