Description

We have made the move to Maplewood! We have a brand new bakery but we still are bringing you the fresh, homemade bread and sweets we always have. The new bakery is in the heart of Maplewood's busy restaurant and shopping area. La Cosecha Coffee Roasters also followed us to Maplewood, and they have a brand new, beautiful coffee bar and they even roast their own coffee in their coffee bar. So come by for a fresh slice and delicious cup of Fair-Trade coffee!

I am giving two stars instead of one for the friendliness and quick service of the staff. My companion and I did not experience any problems in these areas. However, the food itself was just not great. We were surprised at how not good the bread was in our sandwiches considering bread is what does company does. On top of this the sandwich ingredients were very basic with no wow factor at all, I could have easily made something better than this at home, even the bread part. The only redeeming quality was the bacon on the sandwhich was the best part, the staff as mentioned previously, and the fact that this bread co. is attached to the coffee shop, which is pretty cool! Would return to the coffee shop but not to the bread co. unfortunately.
This bakery is right inside a cafe and offers many healthy options of bread. The owner was very friendly and passionately offered me some samplings of their breads. Though I’m not a big fan of breads, their tomato herbs bread was impressive. Eventually we bought the hot cocoa biscotti, which is great!
It shows that they grind the grain themselves so that the flour is fresh and the bread is amazing. I especially love all the seeds in the Dakota bread!
Did a job for this business and stopped in to get breakfast. Never been here before and got a cinnamon roll, I was not disappointed. Will definitely stop by again.Food: 5/5
Baked in-site, the baked goods have a wide array of flavors and grains. Walking in makes you want to break out the butter and jam. Nice coffee bar La Cosecha Coffee Roasters up front roast their own beans. Very quaint, very homey.
For all the people who have given up on bread, or you think bread is bad or wrong... May you bless your body with this WHOLESOME YUMMINESS!! This loaf was given to me by a new friend as a gift and a GIFT it had been beyond my comprehension Experience wholeness, guilt free and full of pleasure the way bread is supposed to be... handmade by family, in a kitchen daily, designed to nurish your body and fully satisfy. Thank you Steve beyond measure!
I picked up some goodies for my coworkers at Cheryl’s Herbs down the street. I was worried at first, because even though the coffee in the front of the store smelled delightful, neither one of their employees greeted me or acknowledged me. Once I walked past the coffee counter, which I believe is a separate business, the rest of the whole experience was delightful. From the samples the gentleman that helped me offered as soon as I stepped up, to the very appreciative and genuine “thank you” as I left with my order. I even bought more than I planned just because of his service. Customer Service goes a long way!!!

The best bread in the area and the cinnamon rolls are enough to kill for. It's worth the trip. I can't wait until the farmers market in Lake St. louis opens back up so I don't have to make such a long drive.
This is truly some great bread. Their Harvest White has a soft texture and it’s a bit sweeter than most other breads. A slice of bread makes for a nice snack all on its own, no butter or other toppings needed. I’m looking forward to trying out their other offerings. I was interested in trying their breads since they’re all preservative free, they mill their own flour, and they use traditional recipes. The end product shows they know what they’re doing and they’re good at it. Definitely coming back for more.
