I lived in the region for a very long time and had never been. We went prior to going to see the play at the Capitol Centre and I'm so glad we did. The volunteer gave us a great tour of the home and explained the Dionne story in great detail.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
I didn't get to look around at all. I don't understand why attractions would be closed on a Sunday. The only times they had posted to enter was Friday and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm? Who is that for? I am from Toronto. I can't just stop by whenever.Visited onWeekendWait time1 hr+Reservation recommendedNo
Amazing gem of our history. Needs to be seen by all. Highly recommend a visit, very informative free tour. House full of original antiques. Please give a donation while there.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
What a fascinating story. The guide was super informative and helpful. We just happened to visit while a member of the extended Dionne family was there, and this added a layer of interest and enjoyment to the tour. Seeing the house itself made it easier to appreciate the quints' early years. Recommended.
Had a personal showing. Due to the restrictions it was one group at a time. My wife, kids and I had the pleasure to be given a personalized showing by a nephew of the Quints and member of the board. What a great history glimpse for my 2 teenaged kids it was an eye opener for how people lived in rural Canada. No entry fee . But they did ask for a donation towards landscaping and other upgrades which they had plans for right there to see where you $ would go. We of course gave what we felt was a proper donation and thanked them for the showing. We really enjoyed North Bay.
Very informative, lots of pictures and well put together displays. Tour was given by a descendant of the Dionne family, so it was extra interesting. I would recommend as a tourist and truth about the family attraction in North Bay, Ontario
We were given a great tour of the tiny house, and a member of the family happened to be there to offer more insight. Such a tragic story. Great artifacts. Could have benefited from a little more signage explaining, but since we had a person telling us everything, we didn't miss that. I highly recommend this museum. Now I want to learn more about the Dionne quintuplets.
Beautiful place to go- especially if it's raining out. Both kids and adults alike can enjoy this historic monument in Canada's history. Our guide was wonderful at entertaining the kids and adults with stories and facts. Would definitely go back.
I used to go into the museum every year I came up north. But now that it's.moved it's little out of my way. Unfortunately. Is there still souvenirs. I really wanted post cards as I collect them. But can't find anyone to send money to get them and mailed to me.
Nice historic house. It seems like it is place in the middle of nowhere.
