This is our second time being here. The wings are average. The first time we got mozzarella sticks and they were kind of cold but I wanted to come back and give it another shot. They changed their process and layout. Originally you would be seated and served by a waitress and can order continue adding items Etc and then close out your tab. Now you order at a counter so if you want multiple drinks you're going to have to go back multiple times and pay each time. I ordered their fried pickles as an appetizer and of course they came served with the meal. Their structure overall is getting worse their food was average at best and the level of service is really subpar I won't be returning. Don't waste your time go somewhere else for better wings.
We ordered the Buffalo Wings and Blue Chicken salad...The wings were perfect! The breading was perfectly thin and covered in flavor! The onion rings that came with my dinner were crunchy and huge, too! Definitely eating there again!
Server was good and attentive, food came out in about 15 minutes. Skin of wings was nice and crisp, sauces are very good and, unless I am mistaken, original. I would recommend the mango habenero or chipotle sauces for a flavor that is a good blend of spicy and delicious. I will definitely be eating here frequently. The only reason i give 4 stars instead of 5 is that prices are a little steeper than other wing joints.
Look no further for great food and superior service from the young man that took our order to the GM himself! Wife, daughter, and I shared a 24, piping-hot, wing combo teriyaki & honey bbq flavors with fresh hand-cut fries and tasty onion rings. We were truly in wing heaven! One of the best 45 minute dinner experiences we have ever had. We took the GM back 20 years to Thur, 25 cent wing nite at what we believed was the best wing establishment since sliced bread. Well that was then and this is now! We are officially Dippers Wing Bar fans- This establishment is a must try!
Loved this place. Got 2 orders of 12 peice wings for 27 dollars. Not bad at all. Each 12 peice came with 2 sauces and ranch or blue cheese a side and a drink. Sides you can get fries, onion rings, coleslaw or potato salad. Wednesday’s you get the 12 peice wings for 9.99!! Loved it! Really hit the spot! Been wanting wings lately and nowhere around burnet area has any good BBQ wings and this place had Honey BBQ which is exactly what i wanted! Thank you Dippers, you made a pregnant girl very happy!!
Wings hit the spot even if sauces I tried were not my favorite. Not trying to be harsh but the quality of appetizers was like I'd gone to the fair but at restaurant prices. I got the chili cheese fries and it was pretty much canned cheese with something like wolf brand chili. I can't speak to the other appetizers. I like supporting small local restaurants so I think there are some easy changes that can help. Easy start... Use real cheese on your cheese fries. Atmosphere works and love that there is a place in town to catch sports on some TV's. Check it out and decide for yourself!
Stopped in for lunch and got painfully full off a 6-piece bone in wings meal. The garlic parm sauce is the greatest, I used what was left to dip my onion rings in! Definitely get some of their jalapeno cilantro ranch too because it's fantastic. We'll be regulars!
Dropped in this place on a wedsday evening, we were surprised to see only one other table occupied. Our food took 38 minutes to come out after the order was placed. wings take 8-10 minutes in deep fryer @375°. We orderedea 18 wings totall. 3 separate flavors/6 wings ea. Dr pepper, garlic parmesan, and Chipotle. The DP wasn't sweet and resembled absolutely nothing about DP, garlic parmesan was surprisingly amazing, probably best I've ever had. Now...my Chipotle was next to last on the heat scale on the menu. To put it simple....no heat, my 6 year old even had one, tasted nothing like Chipotle smoked jalapeno. Sad. All wings were extremely crunchy and just plain overcooked. My water stayed empty except for when I refilled I myself. And to top all of this off.....now this is what makes or breaks a wing shack......the ranch and blue cheese dipping sauce comes out of a tub.....all pre-made. This isn't even 'house recipe' quality. We were exited to see more options coming to Liberty Hill. But this is 'run em through' pre-maid, overcooked nothing authentic. Won't last in Hill.
This wing place is definitely subpar, and given that there aren't many options out here, I would be more lenient if the pricing weren't also way too high. The wings tasted dry/overcooked, the sauces were subpar and limited in options, and they didn't come with carrots or celery. Price wise, they were higher than BW3s or Pluckers, well above the $1 a wing midpoint. The wait staff was friendly, but young and very inexperienced, I think they were maybe 16 and this was their very first job. It did not seem like they had been trained at all. As a sports bar, the TV's were very small, and there was no bar setup, so not a great place to go watch a game either. There wasn't an important game going, so I don't know if they turn on the sound when there is, but there was no audio that I could hear
Just plain delicious wings. Price includes side. Local mom and pop that really tries to please. Good food. Good folks. Honey bbq is so good I cannot decide if I should eat them or roll around in them.
