Cool place for kids! Lots of fun stuff to do. COVID protocols in place but masks are "strongly encouraged" so, no one had them on. If you're nervous about that, don't go there. Otherwise, it was business as usual with all the attractions open.
I love to go to Moody Garden. It is a very nice place to visit. The atmosphere is nice and the exhibits are nice. The penguins exhibit was under construction. So if you're going there for that, don't waste your time. Be careful in going to Palm Beach it was close July 18th, 2021 UNDERSTAFFED. THE Colonels steam boat ran one time on July 18th, 2021 because of a problem with the generator that's a problem. Call before you come and purchase your tickets. Im a season pass holder so I wasn't to upset just disappointed. The music museum is nice great interaction with the instruments. The drums were nice
Not much to do, thankfully it was part of the package or I would have been upset to have paid for it. Most things were not maintained well and if one person was using an item you couldn't hear what you were doing in the jam room. The show was cute but as a short person the things that are meant to be a light jab poked me hard in the shoulder blade.
The discovery pyramid never fails to entertain. The drawback is that after it has been on display for "x" amount of time things on display break, and it doesn't seem like they get fixed. The theme this time was music. It showed the evolution of music. How sounds are made, and what makes sounds. My 3yo thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The last display we saw was DaVinci. All displays are fully hands-on. Adults will become kids inside.
The facilities are nice but the staff is incredibly uninformed and the ticket information is very unclear on-line and in person. Every simple question we had, they had to "go-check." We wanted to go to the discovery museum so we called and asked if they sold tickets for just this attraction. After going to ask, they said yes and we asked when they opened and they said 10 am. When we arrived at 10 am we asked for tickets for the discovery museum and the employee had to go check. She came back and said that doesn't open until noon. We had a very disappointed 4 year old to deal with when we told her we had to leave all because they can't properly display information on their web page or train their personal.
Not worth it by itself. If bought in a package deal, worth it. My child enjoyed playing the instruments. The 4D show was cute.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$31+
I came here on Friday, November 27, 2020. I went to the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: An Interactive Adventure. Online, the show was said to be about 25 minutes. However, it actually only ended up being about 10 minutes in length. The 3D portion was cool and I liked how water was sprayed unexpectedly. But it was not interactive unfortunately. The description of the show stated that the audience would be able to help operate the ship and have conversations with the characters, but this did not happen. When I had come in 2015, there was a Spongebob show that was much more interactive. Nevertheless, there is an area where you wait for the show to begin which is decorated very nicely and has tanks of fish and cool areas to take pictures. Upstairs was Skeletown that had cool skeletons of humans and animals. However, we did not spend more than 15 minutes in this exhibit. Overall, I would recommend that you check out this pyramid only if you have time after seeing the Rainforest and Aquarium pyramid.
Love this place. Awesome time for the family. The Dino alive was really cool but very small. Took us only a few minutes to walk through.
I got bored very quickly in this pyramid. However, I am an adult and this particular pyramid is very kid centered. If you have children with you, they will love it.
Super Cool...a definite yes! Bought the $60 package for all the Pyramids and shows. This pyramid targets the kids more so. The movie is very kid interactive and so are all the exhibits.
