I founded Divine Assistance Health and Wellness in November, 2014. As a child, I grew up watching the devastating effects of ALS and Huntington's Disease claim the lives of several close family members. I knew from a very early age that I wanted to help people. I decided after Hospital Corpse School in the USN-R, that I wanted to be a nurse. I did practice as a nurse for decades. When I learned that I tested positive for the Huntington's Disease gene 20 years ago, western medicine suggested that I wait for symptoms to start, and treat the symptoms with medications. I suffered from depression as a result of living in a toxic relationship for 17 years and was medicated ALL of those years. It wasn't until I did a lot of reading that was recommended by a neuro-psychologist in 2014 that I learned I had more choices. Those choices gave me hope and inspired me! I have weaned off of all medications, except thyroid, and feel absolutely restored!
To help as many people as possible through education become inspired to be motivated to make the necessary changes in their lives to start living life to their fullest! This is not about perfection...It is about being the best you for you and your families!
