I just want to know if it’s standard USPS policy to deliver mail and packages this way. See photos. Especially when it rains almost everyday or dishonest people come by. This happens all the time at my house. I have complained but it doesn’t do any good it just gets worse. I also don’t receive important mail at times which leads me to believe it’s pay back for complaining. Any suggestions on how to get proper service? If my mail carrier can crush the package enough to get at least a portion of the box, etc… in our mailbox which is now damaged from forcing in packages our carrier does so. There is no way for them to know what’s inside the box that they are crushing. Maybe something irreplaceable. If you don’t want to do your job properly, get another job. Again any suggestions? Oh and also there are small trees crammed in the mailbox as well.
Absolute trash. We mailed our tax paperwork 2 weeks ago with a forever stamp. TODAY we got it returned back to us saying it needed additional postage and there was a space for them to write how much additional postage needed to be paid you know, so we could mail it properly... even though a forever stamp is supposed to cover it. They couldn't even be bothered to write how much postage needed to be added to make it mailable. Top it off with the fact that they held on to it for 2 weeks and returned it to us days before taxes are due... So disrespectful especially since a clerk accepted the letter without letting us know it needed more.
Our mail man is awesome but I deed having to talk to any one at post office some them are really rood an takes hrs to get them to answer
Dropped my prepaid shipping package off here a week ago. Handed it directly to the attendant and now I'm taking a loss because the package was apparently never scanned in correctly so my customer canceled the purchase. I will NEVER use this post office again. Sad that you can't even mail a small package.
I've had generally good experiences at the post office, if Dee is there or the older woman with short hair and glasses, or the other 2 brunette women. The black man is rude and has no customer service skills whatsoever! I dread every time I have to go in and he's there. It's that bad. Never kind, never smiles, always seems to have an attitude, seems to hate his job and hate the people he serves. I honestly think they should get rid of him and the atmosphere and customer service would greatly improve, as other comments have also suggested! 1 star because of him specifically! ++Aside from the actual location, my carrier has improved. I used to have an old woman who looked like a witch, no exaggeration. She drove crazy fast, almost ran over kids and dogs in the area and never wanted to get out of her vehicle to deliver packages to the door. Just lazy and rude. Since she's been gone, the last year has been great. I've had an older man in a little white van delivering my mail and he's always on time, very professional and makes sure I get everything I need. 5 stars to him, and Katie has also always been helpful when I called and had questions about packages. She's good too.
Today our mail lady, Melissa, knocked on my door and informed me that my neighbor's mailbox door keeps coming open and she is afraid it will scratch her car. She said, "I told them two weeks ago and they haven't fixed it yet. So I'm going to let it be your responsibility to get them to fix it and, until then, I'm not delivering your mail." She then handed me today's mail and told me she was only giving it to me today "to be nice." When I told her that had to be illegal, she told me that it wasn't and I was welcome to complain because the complaint would just get sent to her manager who already knew. She then drove to my other neighbor's house and told her she wouldn't give her mail either and she would have to drive to the post office to get it. Both my neighbor and I called the Pinson Post Office and spoke with Katie, the Post Master, who also told us that it wasn't illegal for them to hold our mail because of our neighbor's mail box and encouraged us to report it as it would just come back to her anyway. My neighbor agreed to have her husband fix our other neighbors mailbox so our mail service could be continued. Additionally, I found out it hadn't been two weeks since she asked our neighbor to fix her mailbox but rather one day. Our neighbor had replied with a note saying her husband would be out of town for two days and would replace it when he returned. So I was bullied and threatened by my mail lady in front of my children over nothing.
They refuse to answer the phone, I have to call them back to back for over an hour to get an answer then the man who answers acts like he can't hear you when inquiring about where missed delivery mail is, get the run around about what's happened to it or where it might be does me no good if the stuff I pay for gets delivered to the wrong road because they are freaking lazy or don't care .. now I have to tell company's my dumb mail office can't deliver to the proper address .. I have to report missing and stolen packages at lest 6 times a month because what I pay for doesn't make it here The mail carrier is hardly ever at work so I go days with undelivered mail, my packages get sent to someone else's address, if it's to be signed for i still don't get it they avoid my yard because I have a husky in my yard who's on a line that can't bother anyone delivering mail to my door. , they aren't ever 100% at checking the address they use dumb google maps tonpun pint who's address is who's.. I got some child's college acceptance letters and packets here because they refuse to deliver where it goes. Lazy as all get out.. Piss por mail service absolutely terrible,
After waiting all day for an Amazon package I signed in for tracking. Notes in computer said delivery attempted. The mail person didn't even bother to get out of her vehicle to bring to the door. Since we didn't know how the package was going to be delivered we were not aware this was how it was to be delivered. We watched her sit in her mail truck at the mailbox for 5 minutes. She never got out. In the notes on USPS she logged it as she attempted to deliver. Flat out lie! Also stated she put a delivery attempt notice in our mailbox. LIE number two! Now I get to go to the post office in the morning to get my package that was paid for two day delivery which didn't happen and I will speak with your manager and two solutions are available! I can't stand lazy people! They obviously don't want this job so they won't be sad with one of my solutions! Not happy at all! If I could give negative stars I would! Beyond furious!!!!!!
I purchased a very expensive oil painting. Mail carrier delivered to wrong address. I waited all day for it. Mail carried passed my house at 9:45 but did not leave package, just a bill. I check the website, it says “package” was delivered to my door at 1:30. I thought maybe they could narrow down where the carrier was at 1:30 that day. I had gone right to the post office. They did NOTHING!! I’m out 200.00 ..package came from Italy, made it thru customs, made it to the Pinson post office, but couldn’t make it 3 more miles to my house. I can’t get a refund because it show delivered, whoever received it, didn’t do the right thing and give it back to the carrier. I would give less that one star if possible. And customer service is ridiculous.
Waited ALL day on 10/3 and your Post office Driver NEVER showed up . I have NOT been receiving packages lately. Very upset! Mail people fly by my house much too quickly....makes me extremely suspicious because my packages are NOT arriving like they should. Thinking of calling Corporate!! Extremely angry!!
