Description

Dixie Speedway has been providing affordable, family entertainment for 46 years. A unique venue hosting weekly Dirt Track Racing, Monster Trucks, Demo Derbies and National Touring Series. Racing takes place Saturday nights, March - October, fans will see over 4 hours of high speed racing action featuring 7 different divisions of stock cars.

My grandson loves this place. It an awesome feeling to bring him here when he comes diwn from Kentucky to visit. The same place that I spent many if weekends at as a teenager myself. Nothing like good ole' Georgia red clay racing. Thanks to all who keep this amazing place going strong.
The motorcycle event was well ran and our tickets were reasonably priced @ $40/ticket. Concessions were reasonably priced and a wide variety of food and drinks were available on the menu. I didn't feel like they were trying to hijack our wallet when we ate. The hot menu items that we ordered tasted fresh and were an appropriate temperature. Their staff was able to handle the large crowd and there were plenty of portajohns. There are two things that would have made our visit better: camp chairs and a better experience when leaving the parking lot. The stadium is old concrete, so sitting on it for nearly six hours was rough. The parking lot crew had us pretty jammed up so we were some of the last to leave, even though we were some of the first people to our cars.
This place is a good time. It's uncomfortable it's loud it's got but it's awesome! Definitely family-friendly. Bring a chair!!! Parking is free which is refreshing these days.
Monster Trucks at Dixie in the tailgate section was well worth the extra $5pp. Not nearly as exciting as Monster Jam in Atl but still a great evening/night for all ages. I ADORE the Waterless Boat Races & Demo Derbys!
Love Dixie Speedway been going to races there for over 20 years no better way to spend a warm summer night at the dirt track always have a great time you can afford to take the family with reasonable prices on tickets food and souvenirs and they put on a great show highly recommend going out to Dixie Speedway.
Couldn't find a men's room, I guess that is what the portable toilets were for. The race was exciting for our two year old, the staff were super friendly. The fried pickles were good and so were the fries. Very good prices on concession and gifts.
Great place for family fun. Great to attend events that promote belief in God and Country. If you've never been to a race know that it's very loud and ear protection, especially for little ones, isn't a bad idea. You can bring chairs to sit in. If suggest getting there at least an hour before start time to get a decent seat.
This was a fun experience and I enjoyed it. I was warned to bring ear plugs and they were needed and they do sell them. Bring camping chairs if you don't want to sit on concrete. This is a fun family experience for kids of all ages. It's fun to watch if you like racing and the announcer was good, he even had some jokes for us!

Great dirt track racing with lots of special race events. My favorite is when the outlaw Sprint cars are there. It is a family friendly environment. You may want to bring ear protection for young kids though. The grandstands are concrete, so bring something to sit on. You can also bring in coolers less than 14 inches. They also have an area where you can park your vehicle tailgating to watch the races instead of the grandstands. I haven't done that though. There is no alcohol allowed in the grandstand area, but it is allowed in the tailgating area. There are fences keeping these areas separate. You can not walk to the tailgating area from the grandstands. There is no smoking in the grandstands, but there are smoking areas just behind them by the bathrooms. There are concession stands that serve hot food, snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. You can get autographs from winning drivers at the stand that sells shirts after each race. Races start at 7 pm on Saturdays and end around 11pm or shortly after. Gates open at 5:30 pm. It gets very dusty while the cars are racing, so wear something you don't mind getting dirty. You may also want glasses of some kind to help with dust getting in your eyes. My family really enjoys this track and we go every year! I highly recommend checking it out!
