First time at a race. Went with family that have been many times. This place is huge. Lots of bathrooms in facility or Porta Potty's that are in parking lots. Decent food and drink offerings. Even though you are in basically bleacher seats, there is enough room that you can move. The seats have backs on them so that is nice. You can bring in backpacks and soft-sided coolers with food and drinks!!!!! The atmosphere is awesome because of how big the track is. Only negative was the parking. For some reason they had most gates closed to enter the speedway which made it very difficult to leave.
Update: Any person working with a radio can call for transport for someone who needs it. Not too many people working seemed to know this, but if you let them know you need it and that you were told it was available and that the ADA tent will send someone it should work out. We learned this at the end of the day so our friends did not benefit today but will from now on. Original post; It's completely unfriendly for anyone with a handicap. Even a walking handicap. Every other racetrack uses their golf carts to move those in need. Here, you have to find the ADA tent to ask for help. I'll help you out. It's in the middle of the parking lots, north of the man bridge. All other golf carts drive by empty, saying they can't help. I know everyone wants rides on carts, so it's tough, but when you have someone clearly in need, do something. The vendors are in such a weird spot that it is really hard to get to. I don't know, guys. Frustrated on Friday!! I'm pretty easygoing. But so far this is not my favorite track. Oh and they need trash cans!!!
We came here as part of the Eastern Michigan Camaro Club event and got to drive around the track in our cars. We did 9 laps and enjoyed it very much. Nothing crazy, at least on my part, but a memorable experience.Wait timeUp to 10 min
I've been here 3 times and as a race fan it dosen't disappoint , decent food for the price , facilities are pretty clean and the racing and fan interaction is really good , get the pit pass and you will appreciate the experience, camping is good but a little loud at night .

The venue is great! Lots of food and drink options on race weekend. Their policy allowing people to bring in food and drinks from outside is great, especially for people that have food allergies and sensitivities. One big negative was parking, especially on a rainy day. The grounds were muddy with limited traction and a few cars got stuck. It also took a while to leave as no one was moving and no one was directing traffic.

The place was CLEAN. Food and stuff is expensive but what do you expect? The MIS staff was awesome. The race was great. Parking was eazy, leaving was even easier. Great track with very fast racing, the views can be tough if your not near a screen. The NASCAR races are always a blast, really brings people together. Food and drink selection are good but seating in a shaded area is limited. There are events throughout the year also.
We had the amazing opportunity to unfurl the American flag during the national anthem. Although the race eventually was called off due to rain, we had an amazing time!
