This is my favourite trail around the greater Moncton area! Everything about it is right. My dogs love to come here. The trail is always nicely groomed, people that walk in it are so nice. You get to see a hit of everything in the nature. If you’re looking for a nice walking spot that isn’t to hard this is it.
This place is beautiful, but there is one thing I am not comfortable with. I have seen a lot of dog owners that don't have there dogs on a lead, they let them run free, which is great for you, but my fig doesn't do well with others...note I have her on a leash and muzzle. I think its unsafe for others if a dog is off a lead and a child or adult are scared of dogs or a animal doesn't do well with other dogs. Great trails, i just believe that your animal should be next to you not running far ahead of you or your family.
Great trails for a hike. Lots of mosquitoes, black flies, and horse flies. Some are as big as a Clydesdale! Come prepared.Recommended activitiesWalking, Hiking, Dog WalkingParking spacePlenty of parkingParking optionsFree parking lot
Love this trail. It has shorter loops is you only want a half hour to hour long walk, or you can keep going right to Fundy. Love it the most in the fall.
Very cute trail, lots of fire pits along the path to stop and have a picnic. Once you get about 1-2km into the woods there are far fewer people. The trail is very well marked with blue spray paint on the trees lining the path. 90% of the people and dogs walking the trail wear hunters orange/hot pink this time of year.
This trail is wonderful for many reasons, amazing volunteers who keep the trail clean, safe, and the campsites going:
