I think 2 stars is being generous. Half the sodas are warm/hot. Guy at the till acted like he didn't want to be bothered and seemed annoyed when I had a question about the sodas. This place has potential to be awesome. But if your going to act like you don't want people there...then people probably shouldn't go.
Regardless of what these reviews say about how, the clerk isn’t friendly or trying to be part of the community is absolutely wrong, this place is a hidden gem and I hope every convenience store start doing this
You might think this is a run of the mill kind of convenience store...but wait. They recently added to their inventory and exotic and ecclectic selection of CRAFT SODAS. Not beer, not alcohol. These are the micro brands of sodas ranging from New York Seltzer to various ginger ale ginger "beer". It's only 2 aisles, but they have amazing selections from Asia, including bubble tapioca sodas to popular kid-friendly sodas. 40 years ago, there was a similar shop where CVS is now and Gunter's Greenhouse was that had candy and treats. It's where your parents took you after a vaccination or after a "good game." Doc's is doing this now, some 4 decades later. It's a hidden gem in Richardson. Every try a "birthday cake" soda? They have it and so much more.
i get cigarettes and lottery tickets. good convenience store. they special order American spirit black cigarettes. they're hard to find before i found doc's. they sell craft root beers
Cameron and Ryan no longer own this place. No matter what the guy there tells you, he is the new owner. He lied to me and said that he is Cameron's cousin and that Cameron still works there. I talked to Cameron DIRECTLY and he said that they are not related and he did in fact sell the business. I have known the Khans for almost 25 years. I will not go there ever again just because the new owner lied about it. That place was built on trust and respect and within a week the new owner has destroyed it. It will never be the same. To Cameron and Ryan I wish you guys the very best and you will be missed. And to the new owners : You will never have customer loyalty if you continue treating you customers like that.
I was here at 11:20pm for something very urgent. And of course the store was closed although at time of my review, it clearly advertised as being 24 hours open as attached. Not cool.
New guys is rude and clearly does not want to be part of the neighborhood and community. Sad, I used to stop in and see the owners just to chit chat and say hi even when I didn't need anything. I will never go back there again. The young guys that work there are nice but I still won't give that owner my business at all.
Cameron and Ryan are the best !!! Always very friendly and smiling. They are excellent at customer service and it shows by their loyal customer base. Best convenience store in the Dallas area !
The owner and his brother are awesome! Great place!
