Doctor Bell Weight Loss Fort Lauderdale

I would not recommend Dr Bell to anyone. The doctor gave me a prescription to get a MRI on my foot. The insurance declined the order due to lack of information. I then called the doctor's office and was told that I would have to see the doctor again because the can't make changes to the order once submitted to the insurance or resubmit an amended order . When I went to have my second meeting with the doctor, he seemed more upset that Yiddish was on the rejection letter and Hebrew was not. He looked at my foot again and said he would file a detailed claim with the insurance. The whole meeting took a total of 15 mins. Well, once again, the insurance declined to cover the MRI. I called the doctor's office and asked them to schedule a peer to peer with the insurance. I was told they would but after a week, I had not heard anything so I called again. On this call, I was told that he had not done it yet. I told them that I was in a lot of pain and they assured the insurance person would make the call. Another week went by and not call from them. I called again and was told by, who I think was the office manager, that she would handle the peer to peer. Once again, I waited and had to call back today. On this call I was told that 'the insurance company told them that they had to wait 45 days'. As a result of this run around, I have called another foot specialist to take care of my foot.

I first met Dr.Robert Bell and his staff I was 417 pounds. Over the last 2 years I've lost 136 pounds. I continue to maintain and loose weight every month. The front desk staff and nurses are welcoming and always supportive. I realize everybody doesn't need to loose as much weight as I did, but if you are looking to loose that last 10 or 15 pounds, do it in a safe way under a weight loss doctors care and do it right, go see Dr.Bell!
