Dr. Wallen is a caring, compassionate Doctor. He has a great sense of humor. Dr wallen was honest from the first appointment. He spent an hour with me going over my ctscan. He recommend a biopsy. The biopsy came back positive for non small cell carcinoma. It was stage 1A. He removed my upper left lung. I'm very thankful I will not have to have treatments. I'm also thankful I was referred to Dr Wallen. He's the best.
I came in to Dr Wallen with ILD. From the first time I spoke with him he made me feel listened to and validated. He answered all questions no matter how silly they may have been. We canceled my first surgery right outside of the or because of a cough that I was having that he wasn't comfortable doing the surgery with. We rescheduled my surgery and he was just absolutely amazing. He is amazing bedside manner, his staff that I've interacted with have the same bedside manner. He'll explain things to you and not make you feel stupid for asking the question or asking him to repeat the answer. My follow up with him is Friday although the surgery didn't go exactly as we planned we have a plan in place and I am 100% comfortable with him and his staff. If you have the opportunity to be able to have Dr Wallen on your team jump at that chance you won't regret it
I was on chemo with a compromised immune system He came into the room with larengideous Did not wears mask He insisted that I gets lung biopsy before starting radiation treatment My oncologist tried for six weeks to get him to schedule the byopsy He never responded to my oncologist I ended up getting a lung byopsy from an unskilled doctor from Crouse My lung collapsed and spread cancer to other parts of my lung causing a number of new cancer spots I would recommend using any other doctor This guy is a self centered egotist that does not care about his patients Never never never use this guy
