Awful wait time/ receptionist experience. Horrible reviews are correct. After waiting 40 minutes and the Dr officially running late the Dr comes out and asks his receptionist Meilinif he has patients waiting or if he can’t take a lunch break. She says to take a lunch break. Right in front of me. I stood up and said I was waiting 40 min already and why did she tell him to get lunch. She made up some nonsense about waiting for my insurance to process. I said this was outrageous. She didn’t call the Dr back to fix the situation so I left. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME MAKING AN APPOINTMENT HERE
I went against the negative reviews about the long wait times and my better judgement and decided to give them a shot. I had a 10am appointment and after sitting in the waiting room for 1 hour I asked what the holdup was. The receptionist said “this is standard for first time patients”…so I walked out. How is that acceptable?
Don’t come here if you want to get treatment within 24 hours. They will keep you waiting forever and then send you to do as many tests as they can.
What I like most about physical therapy at Dr. United in White Plains New York is one I never have to make an appointment I come in whenever I have the free time so they tell it to my schedule not me tell it to this to the personal one oh one attention I get from all the physical therapist and also I have my primary care physician here they have x-rays here ultrasounds it’s all in one medical facility and like I said before the times are very flexible so if you have a busy schedule like mine I suggest you give Dr. United White Plains New York I try
I had the worst experience with a Doctor in my 53 yrs. Dr. William Kritzberg. He was rude & assumed a male Hispanic patient could not speak English. He had my blood pressure wrong & when I told him no that’s not right when he became rude. He hadn’t changed the tissue paper on the patient chair. I wouldn’t not recommend United Doctors of White Plains. Seems like he assumed cause I’m a Black American woman that I don’t know better on how to be treated. I wouldn’t recommend Doctors United. I let him & everyone else know the horrible experience I’d had.
Dishonest billing practices and Highly ineffective care. Their physical therapists are absolutely terrible. I couldn't get them to contact my referring doctor to coordinate my care for over 3 and a half months, at which point I found out they never even bothered to review the reports from my MRI and X Rays. One of the PTs is 70 years old and sits at his desk the whole time, never checking on your form doing exercises. Their treatment plans were very ineffective. The front desk staff are also completely dishonest when it comes to filing for insurance claims. When my doctor referred me to another provider, I had to request that they call my insurance to cancel the authorization on the prescription for PT at their office. They lied to me flat out and told me they called my insurance to cancel the authorization. I found this out some 2 weeks later when my insurance denied my claim for a visit to a different provider. Since learning of this, and in spite of requesting that they call my insurance as I initially asked several times, I've had to postpone treatment, waiting now over 3 weeks so far for them to make a simple phone call. They also bill under the names of doctors you'll never meet at their office. Bottom line: chances are, it will be necessary to go elsewhere even if you do come here, so spare yourself the hassle.
I absolutely Love Dr. De La Cruz! I am very very particular about the doctors I have and I find him to be informative, professional with a great attitude. I look forward to my visits with him every Monday at 9:30 AM and if I miss an appointment the office calls me to reschedule. I was very shocked at the level of professionalism here to be honest however they are a great physical therapy office. When i leave I feel fabulous and my back is starting to improve. Great job guys Whitney
Vey bad scheduling system. Expect to be seen an hour later than your appointment time. I wish they had a better explanation than because two patients before me were super late and didn’t show up I had to wait an hour for them to show up and be seen. Patients that late should be rescheduled instead of making others wait. People are mostly nice here so I really don’t want to post this, but this is the third time this happened.
So unprofessional and disorganized ! Went there for the first time because of a very painful pinched shoulder nerve. Had me waiting for over an hour and a half because of an issue with their fax machine that they were rudely blaming on my primary doctor at first. Wasn’t updating me on their progress and the receptionist didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Also the attitude they were giving was pretty outrageous. Wasn’t seen after waiting all that time. They surely don’t seem to care about their patients. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Nurses treated me with much respect. Thank you nurses. The Doctor did not listen to anything I said. I told him I was on one medication. The doctors very next word in his very next sentence he's saying I'm taking a different medication. Over and over Very frustrating. I feel he knew but I'm still in extraneous amounts of pain because the doctor did not take me seriously. Repeat i am in a lot of pain because he couldn't tell the difference between two very different medications. Not going again.
