Many patients prefer our individualized approach to mammography and women's imaging over that found in most other diagnostic radiology facilities. We realize that many patients are nervous about their mammogram and we try hard to make the entire experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
Individualized Attention... Personalized Care
When you have either a mammogram or an ultrasound at our practice, before leaving the office, you will have the results personally explained to you by one of our doctors. Every mammogram is read by a physician while you are at the office so if additional images are needed, they will be done during your visit. This prevents a delay in diagnosis and the anxiety that often occurs when you either have to wait for a call or letter, up to a week or more following an appointment, to learn the results or need to return to a radiology facility for additional "views."
Breast physical examinations are available by a physician at the time of your mammogram, at no additional cost.
