Dogwood Barbeque’s authentic home cookin’ runs deep in the Yoder family roots. With several recipes that have been passed down through generations. All of which you will find available on our daily buffet and salad bar. You can even share our recipes with your own family through our drive thru and carryout. We strive to be a place where guest can receive a delicious home cooked meal at a reasonable price, and timely manner.
Founders and owners, Clete and Joy Yoder, ran a successful catering business for many years. In 2004, they opened Dogwood Barbeque on the corner of 6th street in Vincennes. The name “Dogwood” was carried over from the first location in Glendale, Indiana. Its name derived from the serene peaceful lake that lies there.
The Yoders have raised four children and now enjot their 12 grandchildren. They are fortunate to be able to enjoy their family life while still being involved with the day to day operations of Dogwood BBQ. Their personal mission is to provide an atmosphere that brings glory and honor to Jesus Christ while serving others.
