This place has a certain pretty aspect to it although it is in need of some TLC. There are some beautiful southern magnolia trees and evergreens around the circumference of this little park perched on a little mountain. The pond looked a bit full of algae, but might just spring back to life once the season changes. A winter clean up is badly needed to clear out the broken tree branches, and other natural debris. I was glad to note that the humans did not leave much trash. There are beautiful pine cones galore on the ground at this time. Neat place.
Cute park with lots of potential, it could use more parking, accessibility accommodation, easier-to-see signage, and grounds maintenance. It does have an amphitheater and a neat little pond. A picnic pavilion is up the hill on the other side of the road near the few parking spots.
Pond has top water weeds taking over needs attention sooner than later. Trash was in the water to. There are fish in the pond but they are goldfish I believe so not worth fishing for.
This park is very tiny. There is a bridge that u can walk along but I didn't. I'm not sure if it's called dogwood cause the trees or if it is for your dogs Took a couple pics there.
Nice area to stop and eat. Some real pretty photo spots as well. Would give it a 5 star but there is a little cleaning up that needs to be done. Picnic area: Good sturdy tables, covered tables, easy inclined path is easily accessible for wheel chairs etc.
Great park! Lots of area for ure dog, picnic area and loads of benches with great views of the surrounding area
Looks and feels eerily quiet! Bathrooms not kept up, some vandalism and graffiti. No one was there when I visited but I do recommend not going here alone. Unless your carrying.
If you enjoy pretty marshland and wildlife, u will like it. If you play pokemon go, u will love it! 3 pokestops and a gym in a roughly 1 mile loop and by the time u walk by each one, u can generally pass enough time/distance to hit that each every time u can pass it.
Patk or homeless shelter. It depends on the day. Wouldn't take any children there. Sad day when there is needles around
Wish they would replace the wooden walk way and clean up the pond if they did that and make the walkway bigger and have places to sit that would be perfect
