At Dolce we use nothing but premium, highest quality product in everything we bake, cook and in all the coffee beans that we roast. We specialize in artisan breads, authentic Italian pastries and desserts, and roasting select green coffee beans into our own special blends. Alongside, we also offer a lighter fare of delicious antipasti, salads, Panini and pizzas.
All of our breads and pastries are baked from scratch. Our pastry chef and bakers are craftsmen in their fields, who are trained to the highest ability to mix, ferment, shape and bake each loaf by hand. Our bakers and pastry chefs work parallel to that of jewelers, artists or furniture makers. They know how to combine their materials to build something beautiful and strong and at the same time delicate and elegant. By combining all of our premium ingredients - such as European butters, creams and specialty flours - we are able to create a finished product to be proud of and that you are sure to fall in love with. Dolce is authentically Italian, with a cuisine unlike the food found anywhere else in Flower Mound!
Our coffee beans are purchased from all around the world and are roasted on site daily. At Dolce, you are assured to get the very freshest cup of coffee in the D/FW area. Salads at Dolce are unique in every way. They are made to order from premium heirloom vegetables such as Microgreens, Frisee and Macha lettuce. These are not your ordinary salad greens that are normally readily available in local grocery stores. These are specialty greens that are grown in green houses and carefully cared for. They are considered on the top of the finest vegetables in the world. Other heirloom vegetables that we use are tomatoes and radishes, which are wonderfully robust, colorful and rich in textures and intense flavors. Our lighter fare items such as our antipasti, Panini and Pizzas are also made to order and are made with our freshly baked breads and pizza dough. From flour that originates from carefully selected grain farms all of the country to our imported European butter and creams, nothing in Dolce is brought in unless it is top notch. All of our fruits and vegetables are fresh and NEVER frozen. If fruit is not in season it is not used.
We even have our own herb garden that we use to season many of our menu items.
All of our cheeses and cured Italian meats are imported from Italy and are P.D.O. rated. This designation (Protected Designation of Origin) means that all of these items originated from a particular providence in Italy and can not be replicated in any way. They are the “real deal”. Our Parmeggiano Reggiano cheese comes all the way from the Providence of Emilia Romagna and our Prosciutto is flown in from Parma Italy after being cured for over 600 days or just over 20 months.
