Not a typical "dollar store". There are a few items that are not one dollar, but they do have those items marked. You can find some miscellaneous items for a good deal, depending on the item you might have to dig a little. Staff is friendly.
I went there to buy a birthday card and I picked up one that was on sale. The older owner/only guy I’ve ever seen working there did not give me the same price. He looked at me weirdly to see if I noticed him not give me the sale price. I figured the $.50 wasn’t worth mentioning. This is the 2nd time he’s done this. I won’t be returning. P.S. the store is a mess with a ton of inventory that has been sitting there for way too long.
The selection is okay, the prices are very reasonable, but the items can be a bit dated. I'll definitely be going back, though! It's perfect for quick needs from sponges to flour.
The place needs a little upkeep, however there are some great items in here. All the items are not just one dollar so be careful. The owner is a really nice guy.
The store owner is a very nice person. The store is clean and has good affordable prices. It reminds me of when I was a little girl going to a family owned business and feeling respected and treated kindly.
The Dollar Castle is great and so are the owners. Kind men!
