Took our special needs daughter to buy toys at Dollar Tree today. She loves it. She needed to use the restroom and the customer one was blocked by boxes while the staff restroom was locked. Asked clerk if she could use the staff one. Said we couldn’t. Asked manager. Manager, a woman, said no. When checking out, the nice clerk told us that Rite Aid across the street had a restroom for customers.
As Long as I stick to what it is that I'm going for then I'm OK!! I used to wonder how my mom can spend $50 at the dollar store? Now I can't seem to stay under $50.00 It's a no brainer when you're buying decorations for a holiday, or For a celebration
It's a great store to pick up quick need items, like scotch tape, poster board, gift bags, etc. the store is always clean and has nice staff. TIP: Great place for Mylar balloons.
We always come to this store with my wife. It’s organized and we always find things to buy. I highly recommend this store.
The convenience of Dollar Tree is great. I bought a compass and protractor for $1.00+tax. The same basic set at Target was ~ $3.69. The Dollar Tree store is sort of a mess, but that's not a big deal. Greeting cards, poster board and foam core board are staples at a great price. The only issue is that it's a bit too convenient, as the homeless feel "at home" when filling up their backpacks with food and merchandise and walking out without paying. I see this almost everytime I go in this particular store. And, I'd never expect the store clerks to intervene, as that might be a dangerous decision. Unfortunately, California Proposition 47 essentially condones, or rewards, perpetrators of theft under $950. Look up "2014 California Proposition 47" on Wikipedia to learn more.
The older gentleman wearing the management shirt is the rudest person I’ve met. If this place goes out of business because of this guy, it wouldn’t be a surprise. Standing in line with him yelling “DOLLAR TREE BUSINESS” while looking at his phone instead of helping any customers.
The door says close at 9pm, there’s customers in the store but it’s 8:25pm and the doors are locked and the casheiers are ignoring knocking on door. There is now 9 customers outside the door wanting to Go inside because online says they are open till 9 PM the store door says they’re open till 9 PM but because the lazy lady doesn’t want to clean after 9 o’clock she locked the doors early. I even said I wanted one item and it’s right there I could see it, she said no she has to clean.
I always have fun wandering the aisles. But if there's something you like, get it right then and there. A lot of times when I go back for something it's already sold out. The stories are pretty clean, any employees seem nice, and hey, Everything's a Dollar. LOL
Im a Huge fan of Dollar Tree of all Dollar stores and Cheap-O Depot's . I dont know how busy this store is,, but there was only one Staff member... She was friendly and knwas rung up promptly, but it only one staffnmember running a department store teying to Stock, answer questions she didn't seem like she knew where most things were located or if they sold a specific item. The store looked pretty thrashed... iles were all unorganized, the majority of items are over the place. And a lot of items are in piles. Im not trying to bash this store or the employee working tonight... its not just with this store either. I've been seeing the same exact thing all over orange and San Diego Countys. I dont know, but the management level needs to figure some simple stuff out and get a little more involved or something. Like even hiring a handful of tweakers to come in and organize at night would be a big step in the right direction. Get it together Dollar Tree!
Love dollar tree for all the basics, about a third less than drug or grocery stores. and i like personal sizes at big box savings! I will always support them even tho Im thankfully not pinching pennies any more more, because they were there when I needed them. We need stores like this!
