The Dominican Sisters of Hope are members of the global Order of Preachers commonly known as the Dominicans. As one branch of the Dominican Family -- sisters, nuns, priests, brothers and laity -- we claim Saint Dominic as our Founder.
OUR MISSION
We, Dominican Sisters of Hope, are called to preach the Gospel to the world. In communication with all creation, we commit our lives to the transforming power of HOPE.
Since 1995, the Dominican Sisters of Hope have together continued the journey begun by their three founding congregations: the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena of Fall River, Massachusetts; the Dominican Sisters of Newburgh, New York; and the Dominican Sisters of the Sick Poor of Ossining, New York.
